zeogold: Well, that was partly my concern. As much as I'd be happy to take over, I'm not really sure how people would feel about me having a "monopoly" on the giveaways so to speak. I mean, I'd be fine with it, but this belongs to the community, not me, and I aim not to tick them off.

bler144: Despite your Checkersed history, I think you could handle a Chess full of games enough to give it a Go. It will be a complex Operation that would Boggle the mind of a normal person, but you are a Mastermind and wouldn't treat it like a Trivial Pursuit. You know it's a real Twister collecting and passing out the right games to all these Hungry Hungry Hippos in the right Sequence.

It's a hard-Scrabble world, but you wouldn't leave us Sorry.

Parcheesi.
and hopefully the whole attempt doesn't got SPLAT!

Have you tried contacting support? The staff doesn't read this forum.
Also, you're in the wrong thread to ask this question. It would be wiser to ask this in the Witcher 3 subforum instead.

As a workaround you can always rollback an update. To do this om Galaxy click on the "more" button and chose "setting". Then check the radio button "install updates manually" and select an earlier version. By setting updates to manually you can also prevent the game from being updated without your approval. Of course you want to play the newest version of the game so you still should contact support but the way I described is a way to be able to play the game at all. If everything fails you can also reinstall the game completely using your discs or the offline installer.

moonshineshadow: Well if you want my opinion. The community giveaways are/were the biggest giveaways here. And I belive that it is not something that should be done by one person.

I still say the same: If one person did a good job running one GA he probably will be doing a good job running another GA provided he has enough time on his hands. If it does not work you can still close it again. Afaik there is no other at the moment who would like to take the job so I see absolutely no problem with you having a "monopoly" of hosting two GAs.

Not really remember why, Moon said he no longer have time to take care of the Ga so he decided to close it and returned every unredeemed games to donatur. Moon is still around doing his game photography giveaway

I just did not have the time anymore. I got a new job and needed to move and my free time shrank quite a bit. And while I enjoyed doing the CGA it was a big time sink.
I still hope this will again in some form one day. It was really great, and I'm not saying that just because of the games it got me, but because it really was this community at it's best I think.

Afaik it will come back one day. It's not yet written in stone but I know someone who most likely will continue this one day - just give him a bit more time.
