On FFT/Disgaea:
I'm a huge fan of JRPGs, but Tactics RPGS or Strategy RPGS [TRPGs/SRPGs] are completely different and extremely difficult. I have both Disgaea 1 and FFT, and I cannot complete either. Trust me, A LOT of patience is required to enjoy these games.
On Sierra:
Gabriel Knight 1 is the only GK game worth playing. I'm almost finished with GK2 and all of the subtlety, humor, and intelligent plot are completely gone. The mystery is no longer a mystery about halfway through the game, and GK himself has been turned into a no-longer sympathetic, bumbling idiot.

cogadh: So, now that we know that it really is Activision, does this change anyone's opinions of Bobby Kotick? Or better yet, anyone regret any of the negative things we have said about him?

Makes me think not everyone's horribly evil. But he's still mostly evil. :)

I have no idea what you're talking about. I've always worshipped the man.
:P
I'm still quite a bit disquieted by the "it's all part of the plan" quote from Mikee. So if that news was... err... leaked, then there's nothing surprising tomorrow... or is there? *dun dun duuuuuun*
I'm guessing that EA and/or LucasArts will also be onboard tomorrow, and maybe even another announcement? ;)

Heh heh. That WOULD be clever.
"Oh noes! our info was released early by accident!" *nod nod wink wink*
Then they release, for a hundred bucks, the Complete Collection of Every Game Made in the 1900s.

Navagon: On the front page GOG has begun counting down to next Thursday with the message "Expect the Unexcelled". Obviously this is one of GOG's major first quarter announcements. But what is it?
Official Hints:
1. The return of incredible karmic awareness.
2. Where history overlaps with the present time.
3. They are two different characters, but they complement each other beautifully.
4. A messenger is not named for a soldier, but precedes one.
5. Ohio's secret place.
Let the random speculation commence!

Let's glue the clues by their first letters.
1. TROIKA (Troika?)
2. WHO WTPT
3. TATDCBTCEOB
4. AMISNNFASBPO
5. OSP
When Ubisoft will see all the activision titles flow on GOG they will turn crazy and start give us more than they already do... I hope so...

Why is it I see "HOW APPROPRIATE" (as in "How appropriate, you fight like a cow") inside the first letters of the clues? Is that a clue in and of itself?

TrIp13G: I know this is off-topic, but I've been wondering how the shoulder buttons work on the PSP with PS1 games. Do you have to map two of them to the thumbstick, or something?

That's the default. L2 and R2 are left and right on the thumbstick. It breaks a few games. There might be other ways to map them, but I haven't checked.
what other classics does activision have that we can look forward to ? im not very familiar with their catalog, also i dont think we'll be getting any blizzard titles.
Mere hours to go!

I'm not gonna lie, that sounds pretty bad.
