Thanks and +1 for the giveaway! I haven't seen much anime in a long time, but I recall really liking Appleseed and Ninja Scroll.
I'm in like Flynn! Thank you very much and +1. The only anime series I am familiar with is Gundam Wing, big robots piloted by brooding teenagers, very fun.

Thanks for the continued generosity and fuelling the hoarding addictions in fellow GOG-ers. :D

And now as you are a member of our lord GabeN inner circle, can you tell me what's the Half Life 3 release date. Promise I won't tell anybody else. :)

Anime? Tbh I haven't watched a lot anime (there are some series that I'm planning to watch - Berserk and Technolyze).

However, I'm a huge fan of Dragon Ball. I simply love this series - the humour, the sense of adventure that this series pulls off perfectly. It's brilliant.

I've tried watching Dragon Ball Z (well, tried to say the least - I've watched I think ~ 100 episodes, though I'm not sure), but all there is to it, are fights. The humour is gone for the most part, as is the sense of adventure. It's like Power Rangers with a Dragon Ball theme. Not that interesting.

I know that DB might be considered childlish, but what do I care.

There are 2 anime films that I really like: Akira and Ghost in The Shell. Both are cyberpunk themed, and I reallly love this setting so no wonder I liked them.
Wow, and the music in Akira is just amazing.

I've recently watched Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions. It looks like fantasy bu it's not. It's a drama but more of a comedy and some times towards the end a little tragedy but every episode, it's really fun to watch.(Ok, not likely a tragedy like the recent Evangelion OVA shits :( )
I'm in like Flynn. Thanks for the giveaway.
Many thanks for the giveaway! I'm in like Flynn!

Speaking of anime movies, you probably don't want to miss the already mentioned Spirited Away. It is like a japanese version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, mixed with other novels: an Award winning masterpiece by Miyazaki.

I recommend Steins;Gate. A self-proclaimed mad scientist experiments with time travel would be the hook. It starts off slow but really takes off when the time travel portion occurs.

My favorite anime is Princess Mononoke by Studio Ghibli. It is a fantasy movie set in Muromachi period Japan (XIV-XVI century) centered around conflict between world of nature and rising industrialisation. Between gorgeous art, wonderful music by Joe Hisashi and well written characters it is really exceptional movie.

Thanks for the giveaway. I really like the look of European Escalation but funds are tight for various reasons.

I would have to recommend Cowboy Bebop as an excellent anime show.

I don't really like anime these days that much so can't help you there, but I remember enjoying Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin (Silver Fang) when I was a child, if it counts.
