What's that coming over the hill?

Iron Harvest is coming soon, DRM-free to GOG.com.
The Great War is over but the giant mechs that took part in it are still roaming the streets of the three dominant European empires. Now a new threat is working secretly to try and spark another conflict, which could throw the continent into chaos. Manage your squads of heroes, soldiers, and badass mechs in sandbox levels full of dynamic RTS objectives that can be tackled in more ways that one.

Check out the game's Kickstarter campaign here.
And the Kickstarter say Windows 10 Only ...
With PS4/Xbox One later...

*sad*

Pax11: This thread merely provides more evidence that people look very hard for things to complain about.

It's an announcement. How can an announcement be some horrid moral or ethical failing?

On the flip side, when games come later to GoG than they do to Steam without a previous announcement, all we hear is "I wish I'd known sooner that this was coming to GoG. Already purchased on Steam."

Seems GoG can't win.

The thing is, I don't think GOG has promoted a Kickstarter campaign before (I might be wrong). There was a bit of expectation that they would start doing so for games like Wasteland 2, Shadowrun etc back when the KS craze started, but they didn't.

I also want to complain about something; let us see what to pick...how about this?

The game cannot come here soon enough.

Good luck getting funded and making a game that turns out well! (no sarcasm)

They promoted Bloodstained:

Heh, I wanted to back the project but alas for now it is way out of my league. I will definitely get it on GOG later.

Good luck KingArt! I am a fan of your games and I root for you! :)

Yes, you might be wrong. Did anyone think that perhaps an announcement the game would come to GoG might influence a person's Kickstarter backing? This confirms it is coming here.
Thanks GOG for making me aware of this game and this kickstarter. The developer has a good release history and I will consider backing or pre-ordering this game. The setting is rather interesting as well.

The GOG page says 7, 8 and 10, so I'm assuming that banner doesn't meant that it'll only be on Windows 10.

Yep but the dev didn't responded to the question on Kickstarter /:
So maybe GOG is not aware of the Windows 10 only thing written in BIG LETTERS on the Kickstarter page.

I've searched a bit and it looks like it might be indeed Windows 10 exclusive, for the moment. I'm not too happy about that, so hopefully they'll change their minds.

^ This is some serious artwork; i guess i'd be terrified if i were to see these behemoths in real life back then. Impressive. While i haven't check out the features of the game yet, from the screenshots alone i think it'll be something i'll enjoy so count me as a potential customer; that is, unless there are mini-DLCs planned which is a thing i totally despise (big expansions are OK though).
No Linux version listed? I thought they planned it.
game looks interesting and really nice graphics, will keep my eye on it

They want too, but given the complexity of the game its something they can't promise.
