cpugeek13: I'm 90% sure that its Arcanum. The two characters that compliment themselves must be magic and technology. Prove me wrong, GoG!

Didn't magic in most situation raped technology in that game?
I'm sure we can read more into these clues if we tried.
No wait. No we can't.
"How about another clue for lunch? They are two different characters, but they complement each other beautifully. "
While it could mean EA, I think it would be too obvious. It could also mean that two previous hints were from two different but related games, perhaps from same series?
Then again this whole thing might be just one big hoax. So it's kinda pointless to start guessing. Guessing is fun though, which propably is the whole point of this. :P
I'll just wait , not that long anymore.
D O O M and Quake?
Both the games and the main characters complement each other and the gameplay is beautiful.
It's Fester's Quest.
"Expect the Unexcelled" - 'expect' and 'unexcelled' both have two soft 'e' sounds, and so does Fester's Quest.
"The return of incredible karmic awareness" - Fester has to find his missing family and return them home, and a quest can result in karmic awareness.
"How about another clue for lunch?" - in one episode, Fester ate a thermometer, and a thermometer can clue you in that you have a fever. The bit about two different characters was a red herring.
This, of course, will be GOG's first release of a console-exclusive title, hence the fancy countdown.

We fail in our fandom... though i hope to all the gods of time immortal we get some eidos love... EA has let its iron grip slightly weaken on its IP's and Square-Enix is all about getting there name out and taking risks.... Acti-Bliz are terrifying and Ive delt with them personally... 15 emails spanning 2 months for one sentence reply... to me that's a company to big for its britches.. Speaking of Activision is the only people that Ive ever has issues getting responses from..
it now seems we may end up with sam & max and i will cry the tears of a thousand souls as they descend into oblivion...
Perhaps the purpose behind these messages is simply to simulate the hype for the game itself, rather than to actually tell us specifics about the game.
In other words...
DAIKATANA!!

Your Avatar will forever haunt my dreams....
Also what if its telltale games, they have Sam & Max, and Wallace and Gromit... granted there not old, and the games are more adventure in style which is what GOG's focus seems to be next to RTS... i would be disappointed but then again Sam and Max was fun if not short. Ah well time will tell :)
All this run up for Arcanum? Really?
Arcanum, the game people get confused with Lionheart. The game with the same beginning at Fallout Tactics. No, I mean the one whose main selling point was a wrist-slashing postmodern string quartet.
By Troika, whose one other game is published by Activision!
I'll be happy for you all if I'm wrong. I seriously will. <3

Meaning id, meaning Zenimax/Bethesda, meaning damn unlikely.
Crusader seems a red painted Boba Fett.
I think its about two letters, that when read form a work, which could be a synonym for "beutiful",
EA sounds like "yay"
id is for ego, not beauty ;)

This would be AWESOME! I love that game.
Sam & Max? :/
In my point of view the hints direct to Ultima as a precursor to more EA titles....
