RolodeX: Did you guys notice that the next game is Interstate 76? And did you notice that it already has its own page?
And, more important, it looks exactly like Driver Parallel Lines (wrong screenshots...)...

Coming soon doesn't necessarily mean it's next. It could be next, but sometimes things are in coming soon for several weeks. Awesome though.
I somehow remember Interstate 76 having great graphics when it came out. I look at the screen shots now, and it doesn't seem to have aged well. But it has personality, so it's probably still worth playing.
O YES!!!! i remember having some good times with this game.
Killing barbarians, building a city, training Legions. When in rome do as the romans do.
Now where did i place that disk again. {goes hunting for my Caesar 3 disk]

I didn't expect this, but it's awesome. The first game I ever bought (Lords of Magic) came with this demo. Now both are on GOG. I'll definitely pick this up soon... unless they release Bloodlines, in which case I'll be too busy to play it until summer-ish.
I'm happy with GOG's catalog with strategy/simulation games they have been offering, I played the demo of some of these games, but never actually bought them. Now at $5.99 or $9.99 you can't beat giving these old gems another shot.

Miaghstir: This begs the question: when will the rest of the city builders - Pharaoh, Emperor, and Zeus - appear?
My introduction to the series was with Pharaoh. I still have that disc somewhere, and I got Emperor for free from some gaming magazine a number of years ago, but all the above games would be instabuys for me.

Protoss: Same here (except that I got Zeus and not Emperor from a gaming magazine).

*Checks archive*... yeah, that's it, Zeus, not Emperor.
Still have my original CD (actually 3 CDs, as I also got that game twice as full version with some computer magazines) an runs great on my netbook. can be very addictive and already wasted much time to give my career as a future Ceasar a rerun.
Game also has a graet replay value due to the fact that you can choose between 2 cities at each level (one more or less peaceful and one more dangerous prone to get attacked quite often)

actually, I got a newsletter from gog stating that Interstate 76 will be released next Thursday. So it's definitely next.
Oh, GOG, I already have the entire Ceasars and Zeus games....
...but just in case...
(cough)Quest for Glory,Police Quest(cough)
This is an addictive well made awesome managerial game,it is as deep as you want. You don't really have to check small details as long as you are earning profits and everybody is happy, but if you delve into micromanagement , the small details of your economy, the stats of you infrastructure and people's needs(like religion, enviroment, security and more) including that of Caesar, the game turns out to be an awesome experience for beginners and veterans alike.
The soundtrack begs to be played over and over.

I love this game! Excellent addition, GOG.
I do have one question: Is the game speed throttled in this release? I recall my last time playing it, even the slowest speed would fly.
is it more addictive than pharaon? :) what are the differences and main features? missions are boring or not?
Maybe we can get Pharaoh sometime soon.......
Warning; The GoG version is unpatched which means there are no difficulty levels and you cannot turn the infamous God effects off, which makes the game very difficult at times.
And you cannot apply the 1.0.1.0 patch to the GOG version because changed the executable so that the patch will not install.
I am very disapointed with GOG over this. They need to correct this.
Sweet! I haven't played a proper city-building game in ages. Although I'm busy with other games at the moment I'll definitely be grabbing this one at some point in the near future.
Ave Caesar! A great addition to the gog library indeed!

Really? I'm disappointed too if it is true.
