Whoa, who said PC gamers are the MASTER RACE? Hm... What's with this MASTER RACE fixation anyway? Is it an inferiority complex? Well, there are people that pretended to be the MASTER RACE but not the PC gamers.

Its a fact that game forums are FULL of complainers the people that have no problems and are really enjoying them selves DONT go on the forums much,a few like us but the vast majority are the whiners, the complainers, the kids, the dumb asses, the people that in RL people dont like,they find a common cause and gang up like a pack of giggling Hyenas.

So even though it would appear that the game is not well received and going to be a flop,the truth is they are a VERY small minority and the real masses are sat at home having a great time playing a great game,Keep up the good work CDPR and we look forward to a hearty patch and plenty of FREE DLC.

The truth is, some people are just never going to be happy with anything. They will always find something to complain about. How about just enjoying what you've got. You can call that complacency all you want but who wins in the end? The guy sitting there enjoying the hell out of his game, or the guy nitpicking every detail and whining on a forum? PC gamers are pushing devs away from them, and it's a shame.

Yeah its sad, calling this game a Console game is about the most absurd thing I have ever seen. This is the most PC centric game to come out in a long time, and its a great RPG, a real RPG. Unlike Bioware crap.

How is hooking up my PC to a TV and being able to use both K/M and gamepad a bad thing exactly? The whole point of gaming on PC is versatility. I got a huge HDTV its nice to use it for PC games.

I would just like to say a couple things, which I admit I haven't read the whole 3 pages of replies, so these may have been mentioned already.

1. Every single new game I've purchased in the last 7 years has needed a patch. Every new game produced in the last 7 years that I've downloaded, took at least 2 tries, and at least 15 hours per try to download. Every game I've purchased, download or physical copy has had some snafu with the registration except 1 (thank you Lucasarts, I don't know why your other 8 games needed help)

However, unlike every single other developer (oops, take that back, Bethesda and Bioware when they were young were great) who automatically assured me it was my fault, even when it wasn't, THIS company actually looked at the problems I was having and tried to fix it from their end, even if it was my fault (I can't remember what the issue was, now) THIS company trawls the internet for anything related to their games and READS what people are saying, writes or copies it down, and discusses it with each other to see if there is a solution they can offer.

Are there things I wish they'd decided to go another way with? Sure, youbetcha
Am I challenged regardless of which setting I'm attempting? Yep.
But overall, I expected to be totally lost, unfamiliar with the new interface, frustrated by continuous dieing at something I should be able to do, and missing at least 30% on my first play-through. So far, that's what I have.

I'm reminded of several sequels I've played and the conversations about them during the first week after they were released. Nothing new here.

You seriously cannot figure that out, with all the information available to date?

They even said they tested it at intervals to see consoles could always handle it, and they could. Research before making a topic, it helps.

Reading some of these replies makes my head hurt, the naive masses, it's no wonder modern developers get away with it, you make it too easy for them when you invent the excuses for them whilst spreading misinformation.

It`s the same with all game: the vast majority of those who love the game are too busy playing it to bother contradicting the loud minority whining on the forums.

CD Project, thank you for giving us the best RPG of the year. (If anyone mentions Skyrim I`ll tear their head off, that game is shaping to be the same disappointment as DAII )

I find it funny that I come back to a massive argument over who is right or wrong, when I had been spending most of the time away from the internet and forums playing the damn game.

I am not defending CDPR's mistakes, I am simply saying that those mistakes that people are finding are being blown way out of proportion and taken to mean the developer has screwed up the game.

Take a step back, look at the picture as a whole. Is it a good game? Yes. Does it have flaws? Yes. Can you draw attention to those flaws in a meaningful and constructive manner without bashing the developer? Also yes.

Also: To those saying that there is no silent majority, I am basing this opinion over the fact that most everyone I have talked to about the game has been enjoying it, and that a large percentage hadn't even mentioned the game until I talked abou it. There are many out there who don't voice their opinions on forums every second of the day, and in my sample size of around 40 or so people, the large majority of those people are loving the game to bits.

Fanboys, like me and most of us here, are often trying to rationalize things and won't be comfortable with facing facts or truth we don't want to face.

This is one of them.

no one is bashing the damn developer. just because we have criticisms has nothing to do with us hating the devs. i love the devs and i trust them dearly. they are only a few who are bashing and the majority of us pointing out flaws only do so because we like the game enough to point them out in hopes of a fix from the devs we love. but all we get is people fighting because they dont want to hear the game has these flaws because they rather just ignore problems and pretend it works without even giving the things we say a chance.

I think its hilarious how quick you are to brand me a fanboy, considering that I have myself experienced quite a few issues that have been brought up. Being completely unable to download any DLC being one of them. Just because I am slightly less ragey about the issues with the game than most posts lately on the forum does not make me a fanboy, don't be so quick to assume. I am not about to jump on a bandwagon with the rest of you, and I will state my opinion.

You can point fingers and accuse all you want, this thread started as an attempt at actually trying to get people to show their appreciation and support, in an attempt to balance out the massively negative threads I had seen all day.

But since most people want to nitpick what I said I guess I failed in that respect. Oh well, not that it matters all that much.

Cloud: You are taking one thing I said out of context, I simply meant that some need to tone down the hate and actually look at the larger picture, as if you read what the thread title says, most are happy with the game and being reasonable about trying to give feedback so CDPR may improve the game further.

I have seen far too many times an internet hate machine spiral out of control, I would rather it not happen to this game, seeing as we all want it to succeed.
