There are those of us who instead of complaining about the game supposedly being consolized are instead playing the game and enjoying the heck out of it.

Honestly, how the hell can you conclude that a game not even released on console, which was developed for PC first, and has features and technologies that a console would not be able to handle without significant optimization and dumbing down a consolized game?!

Sure, the game has its flaws, and I will be the first to point them out so that CDProjekt can fix them quicker (the funny but true "Why I hate this game" thread comes to mind), but the game is awesome and I am having a blast with it. The issues with the game will eventually be fixed if CDProjekt's past handling of game problems are anything to go by (the Enhanced Edition patch for Witcher 1 comes to mind).

Keep doing what you do CDProjekt, a lot of us are behind you all the way.

there are some bugs but in years and years of PC gaming one realistically expects that from the truly great ones
i have faith they will be addressed and likely faster than the "big" studios do....if ever

are you serious that you dont see a software mouse which is something designed for games ported from consoles?

just because they added extra graphic settings to a game, or launched the pc version first does not mean that it was not designed for a console.

I hear ya...Most of the people who like the game are playing so they don't come on here much to talk about it...so there is a lot of gripes and other things in the forums

It's not a game for everyone, true..and the consolization detracts a bit...but the game is solid and obviously one of the best IMO.

Some folks just look to hard to find any fault in this game.

I can't remember the last time i enjoyed a game that much. And i guess that ultimately it's all that matters

I hear you. PC gamers have gotten overly sensitive about consoles. Its like terrorism. Anything that goes wrong in PC gaming is blamed on consoles/consolization. I think its more beneficial than detrimental for PC gaming to be more accessible. More accessible means more money for developers increasing the chance of more games.

However, it would be silly to believe that the game does not have features that enables it to be console friendly. With that said its a good game in the end and that is really what matters.

but most of the things being said does not mean they think its a bad game either they just think things can be changed for the better. just because something is negative does not mean they hate the game at all. while it was designed with a console style to it, it can be fixed easily and you all may like it even better with more changes and updates made.

just because a game is great does not mean we cant make it better together.

I do agree, I'm not denying it. The game has been designed with the (at the time) possible future porting to consoles in mind, but people are taking it as if CDPR kicked their dog. I say to those people: Grow up, CDPR are obviously doing what is best for them, that doesn't make it any less true that they developed this game first and foremost for PC.

It just seems like some people can find fault in everything and can't be satisfied no matter what they do. They already did their best to deliver a great product to us, I just wanted to let them know that people appreciate it despite all the negative I keep seeing.

As my Xbox360 is connected to the very same screen as my PC and i use the very same game pad for both (wireless 360) the only difference is that my PC is far more powerful than the 360....so what was this about consolization?^^

The game is brilliant, gorgeous, epic, great sound, multiple paths, long, engrossing, unique and even challenging.

But this tiny little thing isnt 100% what I wanted at launch so I'm gonna bitch like a child louder than anyone else.

So because the PC Gaming industry has a history of releasing beta and alpha code rather than properly testing *before* release we should just accept any old crappy buggy code that gets dumped on us?

Oh I totally agree...I hope mod tools are released soon so the community can get to work on making this more pc friendly.

These things shouldn't distract from enjoying the game. I play with bars on the monitor I'm using now because the game runs smoother than on my 46" tv , but I'm not going to give the game a shitty rating because of bars on my screen or a consolized UI/inventory/qte's. If the game sucked I'd give it a 6/10, but it doesn't suck..the game itself is great. The issues with this game are minor and hopefully will be fixed.

Dude. Your intention is good but is waste of time. PC purist living in imaginary world where hate everything make them especial. They will hate the game even without any of these features. They hate Starcraft 2 because is traditional, they hate Dawn of War 2 because is innovative. Never was and never will be because of the features.
