Dont get me wrong, I enjoy the game but it does have flaws and the hard truth is being a fanboy doesnt get them fixed. Why? Because in the entire history of gaming they never get examined/fixed if people are just blowing sunshine up the devs arses. Back in the day before the internet (I was there) Games were buggy and hell and in alot of cases NEVER got fixed. Why? Because there was rarely ever a outlet for people to complain.

This isnt new or shocking, people complain about every game and it serves a purpose, Fanboys just need to learn to grow a thicker skin. Some people will hate, and thats unavoidable, and some people whom are not having good experiences will complain in hopes things are fixed. Im half Polish, so Im down with CDPR, but the game wont get better without complaints. I daresay we wouldnt have not 1 but 2 patches coming out so quickly if it wasnt for complaining.

Here's a shocking fact: Praising companies to high heaven makes them lose track of reality and get them to consider themselves above criticism - in their mind, they're flawless, and customers should kiss their feet for even bothering to port their wondrous pieces of art to the "dying" PC platform.

CDPR isn't one such company, and I'd rather they never become one. Therefore if there is something to criticize, or to be concerned about, I will make sure I say it aloud. TW2 is a great game, but it's not flawless, so yes, if there are issues, they should be discussed, so the next game can be truly perfect.

That is not to say that people should forget telling that they like the game - to devs and to their own friends. A thank you, and an extra copy sold is a very good thanks for a developer, and for us in the future, too.

I think they put too much effort on combat and less on character interaction. Combat is near perfect, The Witcher 2 probably has the best fighting system in an the history of action-rpgs,
The thing is, I enjoy interacting with characters more than anything else. For example, I thing the most enjoyable part of Dragon Age Origins was the camp :) The witcher 2 has some great characters, it's a shame we don't get to know them better.
CDP have improved the fighting system they were criticized for, I hope they tend to the character interaction now :)
