JudasIscariot: Also, a tip: If you are in Europe on an ADSL connection and trying to play on a US server(like Echo Isles) stay the HELL away from Dalaran. Dear Lord, the lag....I still have flashbacks from it. I had to have my IRL friend log into my account in the US in order to move my character out of Dalaran because the lag spiked so badly there it would knock me off the game.

klaymen: I know what are you talking about. While I walk in Dalaran, it is somewhat playable, but when I mount, it becomes a slideshow.

I was playing in the States on a CABLE connection (something like 1.5 MB's upload, 3 MB's download ...or something like that) and it STILL lagged in Lagaran.

Because it is usually overcrowded. IIRC it isn't that much connection problem, but graphics problem.
painkiller
and titan quest:it
i just got done with a huge strategy/intensive role-playing phase. i think that's why i'm so into these two games right now, which just get straight to the pure, simple fun without much thinking.
Age of Conan
- Prince of Persia (the original one)
- Syndicate
- Shogo (well, at least I should finish the game started months ago :-P)
- Severance: Blade of Darkness (idem)
Just (re)finished:
- Out of this World
- Flashback: The Quest for Identity
- Heart of Darkness
The next ones:
- Diablo (the first one), to replay the warrior campaign (with the current mighty armory, of course :-P) and than with the magic class....
- Severance with other classes
- Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame
- The Humans
- Shitty ancient public domain games: Kung-fu Louie, The Last Half of Darkness, the rouge-alike Wizard's Lair...

Really into 'Obscure' atm and working my way through 'Spellforce'.
Oh and btw I'm trying to achieve again my once-usual sub-30-minutes completing time with Prince of Persia (1989).
Currently I'm under a forty-minutes time, but I've got huge margins for improvement :-P
- Doom
- Heart of Iron 2
- Painkiller
- Gothic 2
- Battle for Wesnoth
Depths of Peril
Under a Killing Moon
UFO: Aftershock
Sword of the Stars: Argos Naval Yard
And a few others here and there.
I just actually started playing Fallout 3 (yes, clearing out a large backlog) and am having quite a bit of fun with it. I'm still not convinced that every game has to be an open-world game, though... I'd like someone to just tell me what I have to do next sometimes, instead of having twenty quests in twenty different locations going.
-Serious Sam The First Encounter (just finished)
-Serious Sam The Second Encounter
-Half-Life
-Command & Conquer Red Alert 3
-Galactic Civilizations II
-Demigod
-Painkiller
-Neighbours from Hell
Bloodrayne 2
Jade Empire
Sword of the Stars
Myth (sort of)
I also have several that I've installed, started on, and then drifted away from. That includes The Witcher. I really enjoyed the first two chapters (at least after I started to look at the game as an adventure game rather than an RPG), but chapter 3 was like running into a solid wall made of boring with a mouth that constantly screams "don't play me."
