Mikee: - I just would like you to write a final conclusion. In fact, it would be the best to see posts from as many of you as possible, to see if there is wide agreement with a final guess:)

Lehti: Nothing new in this post, just my guess and justification for it, in case there are more prizes! :P
"The Return Of Awesome Karmic Awareness" + clues about Arcanum means that Troika is involved.
"A messenger is not named for a soldier, but precedes one" could be Gabriel (messenger) Knight (Soldier) => Sierra.
Currently, ActiBlizz owns the rights to both catalogues, so that's my guess. Would also explain the two characters (A and B) that complement each other beautifully.

Huh...nice reasoning there. I've seen Gabriel Knight mentioned a buncha times now, but never heard of it. Got to go look that up.

cogadh: Well, I think its obvious that my guess is for Sierra/Activision, but I secretly hope the multi-publisher guess is right, in which case I'd also have to guess EA.
What am I supposed to be seeing?

How are they going to make older games compatible with Mac Tablet, can't believe it...

Well, it's a screenshot of Photoshop, could mean pretty much anything - I'd say it's an obvious red herring, toying with the current Mac Tablet hype. The interesting bit is in the lower left corner: what appears to be the countdown screen with "gladly welcome" instead of the numbers. Which means a new publisher, I suppose; so nothing new there, either.

Runehamster: ...seriously?
If the addition of mac support is the big deal...
...well, that's going to disappoint 90% of their customers, methinks. Since right now AFAIK they only offer PC games. Hence, WE are PC gamers.

I'm a mac user that dual boots windows ONLY for games I get from this site and Tell Tale Games.
If I could play these games on my mac I would never boot into windows again.
Keep in mind that the image with the tablet feature still has photoshop open IN the picture, so it's not that I'm even pretending it's likely.
I'd just be thrilled if I could jettison windows forever--well, that's not true, I just realized I still use my copy of Neverwinter Nights Diamond to build modules--but that's a minor thing.

I'm not going to post a final guess. This speculating is only fun without any commitment :D
I've worked it out! The whole thing is an acrostic. If you take the letters designated by the decimal expansion of e from the words designated by the decimal expansion of pi from all the recent GOG announcements, it spells out, hmm, let's see... Tass Times in Tonetown. Is that a real game?

Heh. I was so busy trying to figure out what the GOG page had on it, I didn't even notice that we were looking at a picture of Photoshop and not the GOG website. That throws this squarely into the "probably fake" category.

Same here. I am just hoping that it is something which I will want to play.

Wolfox: My final guess: it's not just one publisher, but two (what else would be truly "unexcelled" for GOG?), and two of the biggest: EA and Activision/Blizzard (the latter mainly for the Sierra games, I suppose).

Same here.
Do Mac have Excel?

NWN-D is worth keeping an extra computer for. Also, I never even thought about giving dual-booters a break. My apologies :D

What the f...ck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????

Can't believe this shot is true.
Nevertheless, if it is, that's a pretty impressive move from GOG.
WAITING! 17 hours to go!!

Actually, yes. It was published by Activision.

I believe this is the solution :) Really nice *thumbs up*
