amok: Why? Can't they buy the bundle?
avatar
ne_zavarj: Imagine you bought Dead Space 3 or any EA games that are on sale on Nuuvem today , and you just heard about his bundle .
That just goes to show how arbitrary the prices for digital goods are. Nuuvem customers paid what they thought was a fair price. And unlike the Botanicula drama, there was no notion of extending some additional support or trust to the rightsholders (c'mon, it's EA).

As for the bundle: No EFF = no sale.

Tranquil.Suit: Dead Space: Inert SecuRom
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box EA account: online activation + always online

Crysis 2: The Steam version of the game contains Steam's "stub" form of DRM. Online play requires MyCrysis account. Origin version has SolidShield.

WBGhiro: Whelp, there go the three games I was interested in.

Screw you then EA.
By the way, anyone else noticing how HB's mission statement of No-DRM is becoming a secondary concern?

Also, there is always a chance drm gets removed after a few years. Or it pops up on another DD (like GOG) and then maybe you could ask EA for a game code or a disount coupon.

That's worth a dollar to me personally.

DukeNukemForever: Seems like EA uses the Bundle to promote it's own shop plattform and also doing something against the bad image. That's my explanation why everything goes to the charity.
I imagine there's some tax writeoff stuff going on there too.

But still, it's a great bundle.

Am I missing something, or is this selling even faster than the THQ bundle?

Seriously, 250 000 units sold in what? 3 hours?
Sure am glad Humble still releases all their games DRM-free. They have not changed at all.

At least they ditched the Christian groups. And it seems there is a strong focus on LGBT issues. Is EA coming out of the closet ;-)?

Worthy charities, as far as I can see. (Well, I skipped American Red Cross. As usual)
A great PR move from EA i suppose. Depending on how much dlc those games have, they'll end up with a profit on dlc sales on top of improving public image.
Wow....Origin, I think it's time we get reacquainted.
It's a DRMed bundle, containing only origin and steam keys.
Great titles, but no, thanks.

Romanul: Origin? No, thanks.

Garugo: Not even for the Steam keys for 5 of the PWYW games? Honestly asking as Origin/EA doesn't get any of the money, it all goes to various charities and the Humble Tip.
Nope, sorry .I never hared of those games and they look action /shooter type. I so not interested. With Sims 3 is a different story though, but that would mean using Origin.
Anyone else having this problem? -.-

That's probably everyone hates EA!

You are doing better than me, I can't even get that far.

EA tech support said they are aware of problems and are working on it.

I'm going to wait it out a few hours before trying anymore to redeem the keys.

lol yeah I am having this issue. It's not a surprise though when you see how much is being sold.

Understandable, maybe the next bundle will be more to your liking! Heck, the weekly one changes over tomorrow.
