Say what r the bonuses?I know about the steam ones, but there could be some for origin too
The facial animations are ugly and the story is inferior to Modern Warfare 3. It felt very un-inspired. The quick time animations were much less annoying in Modern Warfare 3 and I got my revenge on the villain who started the whole mess in the story of Modern Warfare.
That said, Battlefield 3 is cheap now so buy it for multi-player only.

Paul_cz: Yeah of all the shitty military shooters, I enjoyed BF3 single player the most. It is just as shitty as the others, but at least it has some beatiful graphics and level design and occasional nifty moment.
One problem I have with it is that controller support is half-assed and QTEs do not work properly.

Navagon: You know what's sad? EA basically just give away a load of games and ask only that people give some money to charity and at the end of the day I'm still more pissed off at them as a result. How the hell did they manage to make Origin so much worse than GFWL?
O.o

I read that but it just makes no sense.

what are you having a problem with?
Also, is this the only HB where the average have been slowly, but gradually been rising? It was $4.40 when I first looked, and it is now $4.81.

and they just passed $6.000.000. Certain charities must be smiling now.

Lots of bots must be buying the games for the $1 minimum.
anyone know if they are going to put on the bundle Dead Space 2?

but then the average should go down, not up...

Origin and all the ways in which it doesn't work properly.

once again, how so; it is little more than a graphical account manager, working with GOG's game shelf is more trouble than Origin. Some of the settings are burred a little too deep (like setting the download destination defaults), but otherwise it is pretty straight forward.

unless you are dealing with BF3 and the Sims. I know BF3 is a cluster fuck to launch, but that is more DICE's fault for making a dumb ass web based launcher, and I understand that the Sims is about as backasswards in having its own system to play ... neither issue is really about Origin, since they are design choices from the developers.

I always had less problems with Origin than with Steam. It works faster and doesn't have that many useless social features.

that's why I was asking what could go so wrong!

if it was "this sucks, I only want Steam" I would assume that it is the lack of social stuff and familiarity, but to say "this is worse than than GFWL."

that's some major rage going on there, but I just don't get how Origin could be generating it since the client is so simplistic.

we can guess, it seems like a obvious choice as a late addition ... nothing gets announced ahead of the late addition announcements.

for every $100.00 large donation, there are 97 bots buying bundles for $1.

Still.... it is over $6.000.000 earned for charity so far, so I am grateful to all those $100 people, I am also grateful for the bots to wait until a large donation have happened before taking their quota :)

(and should it not be something like 95 bots to make the math fit?)

and the average just rose with 0.01 again.

I pull most of my math out of my ass, I'm just happy I got close with it :)

I'm thinking that the average will pop up once the late addition are announced, BF3 & Sims are two titles that people either have already or they are not interested in ... Dead Space 3 seems to be this HB's meal ticket game, so most people are probably buying low since they are only there for that one title instead of the charity.

*edit*
I just hope that they aren't stupid enough to put Syndicate in as that will just stir up the pot with a bunch of hate about how it isn't squad based tactics.

Really? I've never had a major problem with Origin (barring my Crysis woes from a while ago), but one of my biggest problems with it was how it's much, much slower than Steam. Exemplified by having to redownload Crysis several times. Took at least a couple hours longer than a Steam game of similar size, and even then it downloaded the installer, rather than Steam's download/install thingie.

I haven't tried Origin, but if the client really is super simplistic, I'd be a little pissed that there's a client at all for seemingly no reason.
