I'll say
I'll just go ahead and throw in a vote for the companion cube. I'd even consider buying it myself!

ElPixelIlustre: Yeah, Cube wins, but I'd totally buy two or three of these paintings.
Now, some ideas:
- Three head monkey
- Shadow of the Colossus
- Final Fantasy VII meteor logo
- Super Mario cap
- The guy from Carmageddon cover
- Okami logo

Three headed monkey is a go!
Thanks again everyone for your suggestions, and I'm sorry I've not posted back sooner; I've had a lot of other work on, so I've had to leave this little project for a while.
Not any more though! My get-in for the gallery is on the 15th of May (next week) so I've had to get myself sorted. Once they go on sale, if any do sell, I'll then be replacing them with your suggestions. I'll post pictures to let everyone see what I've picked.
As a thank you to everyone I decided to do one more painting for the space, and I think everyone will like it :)
I've also written on the back of every painting "Support GOG.Com!" and something about DRM-free gaming. I would have put some stickers on the back, but they've not turned up yet.
With GOG staff consent, I will put this painting on sale for the current pound price equivalent of $9.99, using the money to buy a gifted game and run a 'guess the painting' competition in the future. If you don't want me to sell it, I'll just put it up in the space as a nice big advert for you guys.
Thanks again everyone, I'll keep you all posted - adding pictures of the paintings once they're up after the 15th.

*sniff... it's beautiful
Yeah, that GOG logo looks great.
Ah, thanks very much :) It took a surprisingly long time to blend - It was just meant to be a quick one. Then again, painting yellow onto black is a real bitch sometimes.
I thought I'd share the photos I took of the paintings hanging in place; they are there for a month, so I wonder if any will sell!

Ooh your name is in lights... well paint.
They look especially good in context. maybe if you want some big sales you should hire some old stuffy actor to pose as a government official, come in and declare them obscene
phil reeves, eh?
i like that the gogcom one is reppin' it up for the site. and the way the three are arranged in the second pic is awesome.

The press coverage would be great!

That's my name :)
I thought they worked well together, so I'm hoping they sell. I've actually already had some interest in a couple in the last 4 days, so I'm hoping I'll get a sale soon. Here is the price list, which I think is affordable. Remember the GOG one (if it sells) is to fund a competition.

Man, that's so awesome I hope you sell all of them. By the way, if you don't sell the Inky one and the shipping costs are not too expensive... well... you know.
On the off chance I get a job in the next few weeks, I'll probably buy the companion cube if it doesn't sell
Of course I probably won't get either of the jobs I'm applying for...

Al1: Just to change the topic, DRAW A CHICKEN!

Oooh.... A rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle :)
The Baldur's Gate Skull or the BG2 Dual-Face thingy would be awesome. As would the NWN eye.

Ooh yes, the rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle is an iconic image! Maybe do a combined one a pile of all the stupid/useless junk that guybrush carried around with him
The NWN eye would be awesome as well. Maybe the mothership from Homeworld if you want to go a bit more ambitious.
Ha! Make a C&C themed one, it should be an empty landscape shot simply titled "NOD Stealth Tank"
