JudasIscariot: If it was LA or EA then GOG would not drop a single hint for fear of scaring them away or something sort of how hunters don't want to scare deer by not moving for hours in some damn tree stand.

Aliasalpha: Yeah but what hints have been dropped? Unless I've missed some, the only thing is that there's an announcement sometime during the GDC next week and that the publisher is "big". The quotes to me imply a double meaning which was why I was thinking Massive Entertainment

That clue is too vague for me. Big could mean like a major publisher like EIDOS or something like that. Now if they said something like "We're halfway there" that could be taken to mean Midway. Halfway = Midway ....

Oh yes, I'm picking massive entertainment based on the fact I'm sick of saying lucasarts. I ope its not midway, there's virtually nothing on their list I want
Midway would be nice... if only for Hydro Thunder

Awesome game, play it whenever I need a racing fix. They still sell sell it as part of the "Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe" collection:

Midway would be a nice addition to GoG some classic games (arcade wize)

You mean like the old Area 51 lightgun game?

At this point in time GOG only sells DOS and Windows games. Console and arcade games will be a long way off if ever.
Maybe, maybe not. GOG sells DOS-games that use DOSBox, which I suppose is an emulator. Nothing prevents GOG from using similar solutions with other emulators. Look at this, for instance:

These are Amiga games playable on a modern PC, using a built-in emulator.

I definitely wouldn't mind Midway, if for nothing else than getting the Suffering games on GOG. Of course I will be holding out hope for the simultaneous (and completely impossible) Lucasarts/Eidos/EA announcement.
With the old lightgun game Area 51, there was indeed a PC port. Can't remember if it was good or bad, but there was definitely a PC port.

Somehow I think its Lucasarts. Would just hit the nail on the head. I mean come on, how much money would they make with only the monkey islands not to mention day of the tentacle etc.?
They would be foolish not to give in.
When is the GDC?
It starts on Monday.
and announcements are normally teusdays aren't they?
sorry meant to say the midway arcade treasures. Had that on the pc but my copy now dosent like my computer.
