It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

litek: Dropdowns in games catalogue (both IE and Chrome issues) are fixed now.
The email notification bug is fixed too! Thanks!! :)

lukaszthegreat: i use it to check threads i posted in last week. makes it easy to track replies to those thread.

so i would advise against doing that :D

Navagon: I assume this is your comment? The post is a bit of a mess.

But anyway, you can just click on the My Posts link just below My Account to see that.
...
I did not know that.

I second the motion of removing the flags. I also need a message flag to be removed.

litek: The link to downloader is back,
Thanks, doesn't seem to work for all games though.

I can't add Gabriel Knight 3, Temple of Elemental Evil, or Colin McRae 2005, while Gabriel Knight 2, Bloodrayne, Heroes of Might and Magic, Baldur's Gate, and Amerzone work fine. Others are also having problems.

The games I've purchased since the site re-launch were not removed from my wishlist.
The image of Temple Of Elemental Evil forum is "GOG" and not from the game.
Bugs are great! I've got a couple in my Bug Jar. Last one lived for about a week.
Another bug : All Age Of Wonders are released DRM free on Gamersgate with soundtracks for 19.99$. On GOG, the only one released is 4$ more and not even with a soundtrack. Maybe because some spiders ate your SQL or some PHP variables...

I'll definitely wait to buy these games on GOG, but not all people are like me... Maybe you could do some magic (like with Hasbro titles) and release the two games tomorrow with their soundtracks :D

ram1009: UPDATE: I've found my own tutorial. I thought I knew what you wanted me to do but I wanted to be sure. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're asking me (us) to delete our complete internet history, including passwords and cookies just so I (we) can buy a game from this site. Is that correct? If so, does that really seem like a reasonable solution? BTW, I just tried again and the problem persists for me.

Namur: Look, clearing the browser's cache is often required to solve all sorts of issues, not just on this site, everywhere, so yeah it's a very reasonable solution. Clearing the browser's cache also keeps the trash from pilling up and take up space, so you should probably do it from time to time anyway.

And you don't need to clear your history or passwords, you can be selective about what you delete, so maybe try flushing out just the temporary files and maybe cookies and that will probably do it - you'll get all of those back the moment you reload the relevant pages anyway.

You say the problem persists, but did you cleared the browser's cache or not ?
No, you look. I've been using computers for nearly 20 years and nobody has even suggested such a remedy as the only course of action. It's absolutely absurd that every other website I've done business is able to collect my money except this one. BTW, the problem with the dropdown CC expiration menus has a new twist. The menus drop down as they are suppose to and accept the relevant dates, however when the "proceed" button is pressed my CC number highlights presumably to tell me it's a bad number which it isn't. Fortunately The Paypal button has been fixed and I was able to complete my purchase. Unfortunately, the game crashes to a black desktop shortly after the splash screen appears. There's a windows error message about a "DOS emulator". I thought this was going to be fun. So far it isn't. Maybe I should have tried installing the original DN 3D game I still have before spending $6. This is by far the oddest commercial website/forum I've ever used. I can'r even find a place to request instant notifications of responses to my posts and my Google spell checker won't work either.

I'm also going to wait, mainly because my backlog is a nightmare right now so i'm in no particular hurry to get them, but gog should definitely hurry up otherwise most folks will end up getting them from elsewhere.

You've been using computers for nearly 20 years and yet you requested a tutorial to clear your browser's cache ? To be perfectly blunt, that strikes me as a bit odd, but hey, whatever.

In any case, in regards to your issues with the checkout page, even though the devs are keepin' an eye on this thread you should probably contact support directly.

As for the problems with the game, i asume you already tried going to the game start menu folder to see if changing the graphic mode with the provided setup tool would solve that problem. If you have and that didn't help you should probably start a thread in the game specific board.

What's up Doc?

*sorry, couldn't resist.*

I'm sorry, but I have to call "shenanigans" on this one. There is no way someone with the PC use experience you claim has never had occasion to and does not how to clear the internet cache. It is one of the most basic browser remedies around, practically equivalent to rebooting your PC when it locks up.

Even I know that, and I haven't owned my own computer for very long.

Wow...

ram1009 - try downloading CCleaner. That will clean SPECIFICALLY what you choose, just be careful with the registry cleaner part... Still, it is a simple, effective way to clean your cookies out.

And may i suggest you LISTEN to other people. Just because you've been using IE and Win95 for 20 years doesn't mean you know squat.

Cheers

JudasIscariot: The "new forum replies flag bug" still haunts me...on every browser known to man....Make it stooooop!!!
I've had this bug since the site redesign, always shows one reply no matter how many times I read the replies.

I'm also stuck at a rating of 51, have been for a while now even after multiple posts over multiple days.

Maybe no one is voting you up or down? Just a thought.
