StealthKnight: Any game from Big Lots. All the games are $5 dollars! I got Balder's Gate, Thief 1 and 2, Shadows of destiny, Gothic 3, Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia and plenty more. Their selection changes every week so you never know what you may get. Their are great for getting movies, TV shows and Anime for $6. Deals are good their.

the one here has 2 prices for most PC games $4 and $6
and most of the games are less than 5 years old some released within the last 2-3 years
About a year ago I found pre-owned copies of Company of Heroes and Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts for £1 each on a "Buy one get one free" deal in Gamestation. Snapped them up right away.
I have never seen pre-owned copies go for less than £10 each since.

Yeah. Trade-ins are now big business, game shops earn more from them than new. They pay £2 and resell for £8
Got Europa 1400 and Guild 2 (both with expansions) at 5€ together from local supermarket
Lucky you Afthartos. What an awesome deal.

JonhMan: Getting the Orange Box for $25 a month after release at a Best Buy Thanksgiving weekend sale was probably the best deal I've ever gotten.

The ID superpack on Steam for $35.

Yeah I took advantage of those as well...best gaming per dollar in semi-recent memory. $5 Bioshock steam sale.

Also nabbed $3 Rise of Legends from Circuit City closing sale.
The Big Lots in my area are like boxes of chocolates. Mostly shovelware but there's an occasional Paradox title from time to time.
Dragon Age: Origins Digital Deluxe Edition for 5€ from EA's netstore.
And Eidos Collector Pack from Steam for 45.99€
Medieval 2 Total War: Kingdoms - 48p New. From PC World. Didn't even cover the postage costs, never mind the jiffy bag it was sent in. Never mind the game itself for that matter.
Ultimate D&D Collection - £13 New. WTF? Crazy good deal.
Plenty more, but those are the absolute best deals I've got.
Mass Effect for PC today @ STEAM for 4.99 ! Hurry only about 4 and a half hours late if you want the game ;) .

How the hell did you manage that?
Hmm. Total Annihilation Kingdoms for 1€. I think it's the only retail boxed game I've gotten for such a low price.
I don't like the game much, though.
Once I got an Atari 2600 for 50 cents, and another time I got Final Fantasy 7, FF9, and Destroy all Humans for free.

Afthartos: Few years ago i noticed Sim Ant in a sales bin at one game store and it didn't have a price tag on it.
So i went to the counter and asked about it and the clerk gave it to me.
In the end the whole thing cost me 0.10EUR and that was because i took a back for it

GalCiv for 0.99 comes to mind for sure, along with Trials 2 for $2.50.
