The targetting reticule shifts around depending on:
1: Which targetting aid system is turned on, if any.
2: What weapon you use (this only if a targetting aid is ON).
3: Your speed and direction in relevance to the target.
Tips:
NEVER mix different weapons in the same bank! If you want to have differnt cannons installed in the main bank (I often do), grouo them using the weapon grouping which is then accessable using the 1, 2, 3 and 4 keys.
Understand the difference between firing using the mouse and using the fire button/key (see the manual).
Careful with the use of SETA as it does not make you any faster at all in spite of it seeming so. It speeds up the game but you yourself, the human sitting at the computer, are just as slow as always.
