It'll probably be a day one purchase for me if it comes to GOG. If not, I still plan to get it but it may be a little while as I've been buying way too many games lately as it is.

I heard a lot of people praising Sony's Spider-Man, but personally I really hope we get Returnal, that's what I'm hyped for.

GOG got abandoned by Playstation in favor of Epic and Steam which already covers a good majority of the market (in addition to DRM to prevent piracy in their eyes).
I think it's a bit early to play the "GOG has been abandoned by Sony" card...

Horizon hit GOG shelves about 4 months late (August 7th vs November 24th) which is actually surprisingly early compared to other AAA releases we've seen here.
God of War is just out of that time frame (January 2022) and still well within the usual at least 6-12 month delay for AAA releases on GOG.
Uncharted hasn't even been released yet at all, it's scheduled for June 20th.

Days Gone is the only one of those games that has been missing for over a year now (May 2021), which sadly is still par for the GOG course.

To be fair it's worked well for them so why not, Japanese companies were always a little cold to PC till recently, just look at Sega and Capcom doing numbers on PC...but aye Bloodborne would be nice, and Ghosts of Tooshywosshi

Sucks since Spiderman is a great game. Also weird since the releases from Playstation Studio seem to be DRM-free on the Epic store, making them the second-best version to get over steam.
It looks like there's something that hinders DRM free games from coming here, and I'm curious as to what that is. Crusader Kings 3 was DRM free from day one, but oddly still hasn't made it to GoG.

Also, have you tried the Miles Morales Spider-Man game? Do you get to play as the Spider-Cat?

What do you think of the third film? That one got a lot of flak. I still love the first two.

I thought DRM-free was the biggest major hold-up to getting games here.

I am extremely excited about this news, at the very least Sony seems open the idea of bringing some games here or offering them drm free elsehwere.

There is also that Predator game published by Playstation that is like half drm free on epic.

Not gonna happen for a long time if ever. Activision was the licence holder of the Spider Man IP(the games part of it) for almost two decades. They lost it to Sony that doesn’t care or can’t rerelease the old ones because Activision doesn’t allow it. Would love for it to happen but i think those are lost to the sands of time sadly( i know that they can be played from “other”sources). Cheers

Eh, I'm not too interested in this one. I'd rather have Ghosts of Tsushima or Bloodborne. Good on them for releasing more games on PC, though.

Spider-Man is coming to PC on August 12th of this year. We got Horizon, so I think there's a chance we'll get this title too.

Edit 2: This is Spider-Man originally from PS4/PS5. There are many Spider-Man games, and I really wish they'd come up with a unique title so people know what I'm talking about.

Fingers crossed for the older ones as well, Web of Shadows is a brutal piece of art and Shattered Dimensions is awesome as well.
