richlind33: It isn't Fallout 76.
It’s not EA. That’s really the only thing lower than this product and developer. Once CDPR push it into (what is was originally meant to be) a microtransaction kiddie gambling product powered by galaxy (which is why they have been pushing galaxy so hard for years) then they will have become a small EA.
So no, nothing god to say about the product, the developer, any of its subsidiaries or affiliates and would highly recommend anyone of sane mind to avoid them. I am even tempted to avoid any future Keanu Reeves movies due to his involvement in this.

It can be played on Linux. With a lot of headaches and down to half the performance you'd get in Windows if you're on an Nvidia card, but it tends to stay in playable areas (30+ fps) on upper-mid tier cards and above, which provides a relatively decent prev-gen console experience. A Vulkan and/or D3D11 renderer would have been nice though.

I found the whole trainwreck highly entertaining.

It hasn't committed any crimes against humanity (that I know of).

did someone force you to open up such a thread?

It put Microsoft and Sony through some rather involuntary stress tests of their refund systems. ;)

CP77 is actually a good game, the world itself is awesome.
Night City rly "invites" you to explore it via foot and find some stuff.

It is rly sad all the missing things cripple it so much, but once CDPR
makes the rework happen, which means Night Life, Minigames, Streedcred,
Loyality to 1 Ripperdoc you name it, this game will be AWESOME and on par
if not better than Witcher 3. But a rework needs to happen, that CP77 reaches
that level.

Right now it is a good game, with a good story even some really dark secondary
sidemissions. Let alone the primary ones.

It helped to correct the stock value of CDPR and now I‘m thinking about buying some shares myself.

Gotta find the nearest swearing ticket machine then. ;)

It's one of the biggest names in the game market and is DRM-free!!! (with some caveats)

It's sitting on my wishlist, and I still intend to buy it, once the price drops to an acceptable (for me) level.

It successfully expanded the boundaries of DRM allowed on GOG...

"Me mum told me, if ya can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all"

Jokes aside....um.....it has Keanu Reeves in it?

morolf: Its setting doesn't appeal at all to me though, I get the impression that in some ways it's strangely dated and not very relevant, but I have that feeling about most dystopias.
Is...is this supposed to be a joke or summin? o.0 ;)

Ryan333: Umm.... it's keeping the cyberpunk genre alive... (kinda...)
*cough* Shadowrun Returns *cough cough*

What about the strain on one's eyes from the overuse of yellow and the strain on one's sanity from all the bugs? Those count?
