It isn't Fallout 76.

I have no intention ever to play this game, but reading and watching videos about it provided quite a bit of entertainment for me, so that is a positive.
Its setting doesn't appeal at all to me though, I get the impression that in some ways it's strangely dated and not very relevant, but I have that feeling about most dystopias.

I played a little bit of the game in my friends house and I have to say, has an incredible quality, even the NPCs, the interactions, the detail of the world, feels like the baby of Skyrim and Bioshock Infinite but with an actual good story and great dialogs. In graphics, animation and writing is an outstanding game. I hope to be ablo to play it real soon!!!!

The graphics are wonderful, the setpieces are great, the main story is enjoyable. The facial animations are some of the best I have ever seen. If you cut out the crap like gross gta style advertising, half hearted witcher 3 style rpg mechanics and go here, kill bad man collect meaningless loot side missions; I think it would be on of the greatest cyberpunk games ever made. Alas, it is a bloated game full of unfulfilled promises and wishes that lacks a concise vision and is often clashing with itself. It just lacks the weight in choices or consequences that it needs to be a great rpg and it's too big for it's own good to let what it does well constantly shine.

Or made people shatter their keyboards as they saw how much a GPU upgrade would cost in the current market, and then slammed their fists down while screaming "WHAT THE F&*#?!?!?!"

Article
https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2021-04-15-cd-projekts-2020-sales-trounce-previous-full-year-record

For the full year, CD Projekt brought in a record PLN 2.14 billion ($562 million) in consolidated sales revenues. That number is more than four times what it reported for 2019, and more than two-and-a-half times the company's previous record of PLN 798 million ($210 million), set in 2015 with the launch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The company set a bottom-line record as well, reporting a net profit of PLN 1.15 billion ($303 million). That more than triples the company's previous profit record of PLN 342 million ($89.8 million), also set in 2015.

I like it. But I won't say anything nice about it. Developers. lied. full stop.

Marcin Iwinski lied. He released one of the worst apologies ever. He secretly laughs at the people giving him so much money, and couldn't care less because he is rich from them. CDPR and CDP scammed millions of people, and had to offer refunds, but they knew many would not take advantage of it, and that many more would not believe that the release as bad as claimed and still buy it. I like Cyberpunk, but I may never buy another CDPR game again due to the way they abused the trust the gaming community put in them. They were supposed to be different, but decided "money, bitch!"

Well, Fuck you, CDP/CDPR. Fuck you indeed.

Well.
Anyone who enjoys the colour yellow should really enjoy it.

Edit: It helped reignite advocacy for eye safety in gaming.

3 nice facts:

1: The JALI technology is quite impressive.
2: It had better optimization and less bugs on launch day than Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has right now.
3: Look at the image

- The original teaser trailer many years ago, with the murderous android prostitute, was cool as heck. It was almost as cool as the Dawn of War 3 trailers. I didn't like the later trailers as much as they were much more generic, but the appearance of John Wick at the end of one of the trailers was a cool surprise though. I'm glad they chose him and not e.g. Charlie Sheen.

- I am pretty sure I will end up liking the game, when I eventually get to actually play it. Currently I am waiting to buy a new gaming laptop that could play it comfortably, like XMG Neo 15" with RTX 3060 or 3070 in it.

- Despite all the complaints, apparently it did bring lots of money to CDPR and CDP, which I guess is good news to GOG.com survival as well (ie. at least they wouldn't close down GOG.com in the near-ish future due to lack of funds, I presume). Hopefully CDPR is able to recover from this and also their name; keeping updating CP2077 to squash as many problems as they can is a good start.

I really enjoy the aesthetic, the gameplay and the characters of this game.
