Deadly exhibits.

Shivers, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Acting on a dare that you took to shut up your stupid friends, you find yourself spending the night inside a spooky museum, hunting down a bunch of escaped spirits that don't like your face one bit. A classic first-person adventure from masters of the genre Sierra On-Line made to chill and kill, if you're not careful.

Great release, and very pleasantly surprised it's not regionally price-hiked, at least in my region, unlike other classic releases from Activision.
Oooh, awesome news!

Back in the day I remember Shivers being described as Sierra's Myst clone, but I ended up enjoying this game soooo much more. :-) Hehe, still love the trailer they had on other Sierra releases around the same time:

Thank you for adding it to the catalog GOG!

Thanks GOG!

Loved this game when it came out. Added to my wishlist (just bought a ton of games in the sale) but will likely buy it before the end of the month.

A very cool addition to GOG's inventory :)
Still have my discs for this game, love the soundtrack (especially the Planetarium theme)
Yes!!

I played this game (more watched my father & older brother play this game) when I was way too young and it gave me actual nightmares.
I've been waiting for this one for so long! I'm thrilled to have it to play again!

Now, if GOG ever releases Shivers 2, and I'll have the entirety of my childhood gaming collection in my GOG library :D

Crosmando: Isn't this a Windows 3.1 game or something?
It's running through ScummVM.
YES! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOREVER OMFG!!!! Ahem.... just don't forget about Shivers II: Harvest of Souls, now.

Haggis63: Still have all my original drawings and notes in my note book from the day of 1995.

tfishell: You should scan and share them with us, if you don't mind and think it could be interesting. :)
Yeah, I love stuff like this for some reason.
Fantastic news that Shivers is on GoG.

Thank you and well done for bringing this classic back into our lives.

Please try and do the same for “Black Dahlia” as this too is a classic and well worth playing again.
THANK YOU so much for bringing this gem back! Even though I have a functional copy of the game already, I purchased it here to show my support (and with hopes that the sequel gets its day in the sun, too!).
Oooh, looks like a 7th Guest type of game, interesting! :-)
OMG!!
I loved this game and as soon as i saw this joined GOG.
I hope the second Shivers is also added soon.
Glad to have found this download. I still have the original CD I bought back in 1999 when I worked at K-Mart. Was able to get it to work on every machine I had up until Windows 10. Now I don't have to worry about that, and love it takes up the entire screen, not just half a screen. I think I still have my old walkthrough I printed out back in 1999.
