Ok everyone the game is out on IOS and Android. Who has played the game and what were your experiences so far? What have you caught so far? Any funny or memorable moments? I'm excited to see what others have to share, especially those from overseas :D

So last night i downloaded the game and tonight was the first time i went out to test the game. IT works really well, kinda like Ingress, if anyone has played that, someone what similar. You go out and explore the suburbs and environments around you. There were about 30+ people out tonight also playing the game (you see them walking around with their phones out and at certain spots to catch pokemon or go to a pokestop to collect items.

Ill add a few photos of the pokemon and environments i come across.

It's a bit simplistic, but heaps of fun to play :D

well does anyone know any good Pokemon game for PC?
Google throws too many results at me, so if someone could help that would be great..

the only things i lieked about pokemon were the mudkipz... :-/

nothing for PC that i know of, but for DS/3DS is Alpha Saphire (which i highly recommend) and you can get the orignial red/blue/yellow on the nintendo online store, which will always be the best in the series :D

There's also fan games. Zeta/Omnicron and Insurgence are ones I see suggested. They both have reddits.

You can get the "Ultimate Pokemon Collection" torrent from one of the many torrent sites. It contains all games in existence from the handheld universe, the mainstream story games; no spin-offs. Without the 3ds ones, of which the emulation is not yet perfect. The latest gens like Black and white 1/2 and the remakes of Gen 2, even have the antipiracy measures removed. Last ones (with antipiracy measures removed and xp flowing normally) you won't find anywhere else online; they were removed from the entire internet, be it independent rom sites or random download links, under legal action of Nintendo in yester era.

- what the live tracking of the area with pokemon that pop-up from green bushes, there are pokestops to stock up on pokeballs / eggs (though the number and type is randomly given) and gyms.
- Some of the pokemon i have caught so far.

When i get to level 5 (which you do through catching pokemon and going to pokestops) you can go to the gym, choose a team (red/blue/yellow) - Choose the same team as your friends, as it makes it more fun to go out and defend gyms where you place your pokemon to fight. There are heaps of gyms around too.

With posts like 'I think I'm going to visit this nearby park I've never been to before, looks like a great place to capture pokemon!' I dread to think about all the minors wandering around in unknown spaces because of this ...
