My townreads are Trial, Trent, Brasas. I won't lynch Wyrm today despite not explicitly townreading him. Everyone else is fair game.

Blame both things on Brasas, short story is I don't think JMich has done anything that remotely looks like scumhunting and I think doing as little as he has almost has to be intentional. I think that people should start pushing scumreads since day ends in two days and I won't be available on Day #2.

Okay so the first thing that sticks out to me as I read is:

who of course I've been reading and watching and "feeling" and am pretty much getting new player feeling things out through and through - the brain does its checks *are you sure this isn't just being played* - and I can't BE SURE, but, I feel pretty sure - will be keeping an eye, of course -

but now with the quote above it seems really like he's picking searching for something to grasp on on anyone who may seem vulnerable, seeming like he hopes hat some others will grasp on. tis how I'm starting to read him, will continue on...but as of now both of those things seem like, hmmmmm, lift is scummy, yepper I like my vote there...

and now I've gone through brasass's's's''' stuff and am here and so I'll say what I was thinking about brasasas stuff

while I was reading 145 I started to think "ya know, this is really sounding like brasas from Oakwood" and so I go back and read the rest of his posts (which didn't really GIVE that feel like 145 did) and I don't know how I missed feeling it in those posts, because it just all feels like brasas now, brasas from oakwood, brasas from here, exactly the same - does that mean he's scum? Idunno, but, now it's in my brain...do others feel the same brasas as Oakwood? I have different perspective so am not even sure I should settle on that (though, maybe that gives mea better perspective? I'm not sure?)

does brasas see an easy target? While an excellent player he is still a new player who might be wanting to try his chops on some more tender meat before trying to digest some of the harder cookies to crack, in an obviously smaller team with more risk for exposure - if he's scum again is he daunted by the task of having to repeat performance, because he did kick ass in Oakwood? and so, again, doesn't want to bite off too much too fast here - gah - I certainly can't help but think it...

I read the first page when I thought I was reading the 8th page and I had a heart attack when i thought someone was lynched.

NACHO - the point you are missing that I don't know why is that it is likely a NEW PLAYER doesn't KNOW that certain actions may constitute role-fishing, it comes from ignorance/naivity, they don't have the awareness and so do it without meaning to, EVEN IF in N0 scumchat his buddies coached him about things "make sure you dont' ______ or ____ or _____" to who knows how many degrees(even upon his asking"hey I want to make sure I don't do this how do I not do this? this this?) he could still not realize certian things do certain things, so your stance just seems OFF for not just *knowing* this inherently, especially with frequent newer players that you're used to - I'm with wrym

accumulate that with the slight sr I had before on nacho and I'd say I'm comfy with him or brasas or lift today - hmmm, nacho and brasas again? that'd be something, and if so I look forward to the scum-chat because you guys, like, barely even talked that last Night together, it was weird...

will be looking for how the chemistry is between these two players and how it compares to last game, definitely

In almost every game I've played with JMich he does not post hardly at all on Day 1 unless someone asks him a specific question. I am not saying this to give JMich a pass for not being involved, but it is how he plays Day 1. Once there is more info to go on JMich will be more involved. I think JMich dislikes Day 1 more than me, and I really don't like Day 1 (it's way too long in most games and there's no real info to go on so all we do is overthink everything and get extra paranoid). For me it's very hard to get any kind of read on JMich Day 1.

it's little nuances like this that ping me ever so slightly and I see just a few its and bits like this through your posts - it very likely could be unfamiliarty with you, I suppose, but they do seem off

If I had been reading Oakwood objectively without knowledge, you'd have been an early scum-read for me I'm pretty sure, especially your opening post!~

very simply: I think you could be scum because you could be scum, but I generally tend to have a high suspicion factor for the entire playerlist until I start to feel otherwise (like what happened with trent!) - so it's more a matter of picking from my TOPS TOPS - if it makes you feel better, you're 3rd from the top, and the drop-off from 2-3 is significant - enough that I'd have a much harder time switching a vote to you with how things are than I would lift or brasas if it came down to it.

I often share my thought processes in my posts. It is his general play style and NAI from a broad stance because of that, but even so when you get down to a case by case basis you've got to judge if it is one way or the other, if you can, and I feel like I can. I don't force it there one way or the other, if it's not there it's not, if I "FEEL" it come out NAI, it comes out NAI read for me -here, it is coming out 'scum." I think I am preettttyyy good with reading lift, and so confidence is more there than say, adalia, who I just can't read very well at all. I take my ability to read the player into account too, of course.

Another point to that is that he didn't remove the vote on me when I reacted to it. I feel like town-lift would have been "yehh" and gotten off (or would have been more likely to, that is), but scum lift hopes to hold on to something that maybe will pick up some steam (I do pick up steam pretty easily, and scum players here very often will just wait for me to "get going" before trying to paint ME all sorts of scummy for whatever beautiful spewings I've created.)

JMich doesn't say/do much D1, if you want a specific anything from him, ask, he'll give it if he wants

he's called inscrutable because he's hard to read - except that one time when he changed his meta

generally he's left alone D1 because it's like trying to push an elephant over with a strained wrist

he's a high N1 kill target often because of his late-game , but I rarely even see is late game! it's more of a legend at this point? no...I am just only here a bit over a year is what it is, so others definitely know better than I, I'm just echo..echo...echoo....

but yeh...especially with deadline as it is, JMich is a dead end and we should focus on where there is content

I have played many games (started on game #16 if I recall correctly). Whether that makes me experienced or not is a different question.

It is. I usually try to post in a mostly neutral manner, leaving people to wonder if I'm town or scum. The concept is that since people may be able to push for my lynch, scum will usually leave me alone during night, thus letting any role I may have work. But then you have the WIFOM approach which says it's better to kill me on night 1, in case I do have a power role, which leads to me playing the same way even without a role, so I can (hopefully) draw in the night kill. And you then have the additional option of leaving me alive, since the only chance I have of surviving N1 is if I'm scum.
All in all, a ton of reactions to analyze on following days.

Or it might be that I'm bored, who knows?

But this is afterall the player that not only name dropped statistics but also made it a point to explicitly say he was paying attention to others' reactions to his naive oopsie. Despite the satire, as an answer to you I felt it was very subdued. Afterall, your defense of him when there was hardly an attack should have been as noticeable for him as my probing, and yet, he's hardly engaging you, whereas me... PS: Of course I'm the same Brasas as Oakwood - my scum game is apparently towny as fuck. With some help from Tammy I won that game for town despite being scum! Yay me... :(

I got you in the Resistance game based on Hijack slipping the team selection. And his typical cockyness played into that slip big time... he wanted to not be seen as cocky by not choosing himself and didn't realize the mathematical consequences. He reacted very bad to my calling him out on that. And despite all that, most of the gang went along, suspected me instead, and by the end I was already doubting myself on Hijack | JMich.

So what I'm saying is, your perspective on my Nacho | Trial plot might be nice to have. Please?
