foxgog: Hello movie fans!
I revisited an old classic again, "Three Days of the Condor". A traditional spy movie from 1974 with Robert Redford as main protagonist.
Still amazing, how effective it was in keeping up the suspense and the motives of its figures in the shadows. And the low-fi tech of its era is always chilling for me.
Which other or more recent more cerebral spy movie would you recommend?
One that happens to be quite good as well, is "Tinker, Taylor, Spy" with Gary Oldman.
Kind regards,

Hello Foxgog!
Great to hear about your revisit to the classic "Three Days of the Condor"! It's indeed a timeless spy thriller with Robert Redford's stellar performance.
If you enjoyed "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" with Gary Oldman, you might want to check out "The Spy Who Came in from the Cold" (1965) for a vintage yet gripping experience. For a more recent cerebral spy movie, "Bridge of Spies" (2015) directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks is a compelling choice. The film combines historical drama with espionage, providing a thought-provoking narrative.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these recommendations!
