GreasyDogMeat: I'm surprised how much some people dislike first person perspective games. I guess I used to feel similar towards third person but loads of great ones over the years changed my mind on it. Anyway, first person has me even more eager than I was before.
From what I read on here, people just wanted the option to switch to it. A lot of the Bethesda games have done that and I'm sure others have as well. There's nothing wrong with having a game in one perspective but options are always nice.
The way the trend is going on first-person games, I had this one on my list to look forward to as a third person game and a huge deal for me is it being DRM-Free.
That being said, I do look forward to some first-person games, like System Shock which Night Dive is going to remaster but while I can recommend both Cyberpunk 2077 and System Shock to people like you who like first-person games, I myself will have to pass on this until there is a huge discount on it.
So, I'm happy for you. For us that want a shiny new third-person game that is also DRM-Free (I'm picky, I know) we will have to keep looking and that's our side of it and why this saddens us, just a bit. We mean no harm or malice towards people who like first-person perspective.
