Going to take a look later and probably vote for these. Last week I caught a review / Let's Play of one of the games, from Nerd-cubed, and it looked like a lot of fun. Reminded me of the flavor of some of the early strategy games of the 80s and 90s.

You might be interested in the one he did on Twitch - https://www.twitch.tv/videos/216255915

It is almost 2 hours long, but it is from before the recommendation on YouTube and contain more 'raw' impressions. .

He made it not knowing anything about the game (CW3) or the series, he just basically chose a random very high rated strategy game on Steam, and ending up liking it quite a lot (which lead to the recommendation).

and yes, in case you wondered, in this game you must unlock the credits... they are not like credits in other games... and they are very fun. CW3 is among my 10 best games of all time.
New update: https://knucklecracker.com/blog/

The game is coming along very nicely. Looks a little bit more hectic than earlier, this is a play VIrgilW is struggling a little bit.

Main thing here is the introduction of new enemy types, the blobs and the skimmer, as well as the new incarnations of the old time favorite, the spore, which now have fancy paths so you see where they are going to land. .

It also shows how line of sight works more in detail as well as the creeper dynamics

At least it still appears to be RTWP, I don't think I could play it if he took the pause out, I'm so bad at RTS.
Let's just point out that the Creeper World games are being discounted on gamersgate, these days, and that they are the best games.

I case anybody wanted to know.

it is fitting then, that there is a new update on CW4 progress.

Using CW3 maps in CW4
New enemy types
new units
UI is much clearer
snd more

Ok. Aren't these creep bombers a tad overpowered ? :-|
I have seen my friends play this

what is creeper world?

Some sort of RTS, defense-towery (without corridors, and with power lines), pitting you, and your turrets and your power factories) against an-ever growing mass of destructive liquid.

And it's totally epic. And oppressive. And different.

And you can try it out for free very easily. Download demos, or even play it on flash games websites such as kongregate or armour games, etc...
