So nothing concrete, just as I expected.
He created wonderful games even though they lack a bit on the game design. But the world / stories were great.
So sad news :( Syberia I & II are ones of my most beloved adventure games.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: it's about time you got a forum ban for your incessant trolling. The fact this hasn't happened and your other recent flamebait thread hasn't been locked just shows the GOG forum really has no standards anymore.
Wow... it certainly feels like a number of people I enjoy (their work) are passing in a short period of time... and none of them what I would consider old (certainly not in the usual sense of dying from "old age.").

They will be missed
Get used to his. The first generation of games desire is reaching the age area where people start of fie in large numbers.
RIP

We lose a great artist.
RIP
Wow.

So young. I guess it may be time to finally get into Syberia.
Why is it that good people who are talented die young ?

RIP
RIP. He created very memorable worlds and characters for both the Syberia games and the Inspector Canardo comics.

As much as it is tempting to agree, I cannot. Such would only open the floodgates. There's more than one way to deal with this type of behavior, and i think i have a rough idea how to deal with him.

1) While I agree that sometimes the forum seems to have too many messages about celebrity deaths that have no connection to gaming, in this case there is a very strong connection to gaming.

In fact most of Sokal's games are even available on GOG. And from what I have understood, there is at least one game in some stage of production, so this is relevant information even considering the future of Syberia series.

2) If you re-read the OP, it is actually as neutral a message as it can possibly be. It doesn't have any "RIP", or "it's a great loss" comments, it simply reports what has happened.

So I could understand you getting annoyed by some other messages on the forum, but I believe there's nothing to be triggered about in this. It's neutral and informative, and it is undoubtedly connected to games, even good old games, if you will.

He's just upset 'cause no one cared about his new skin in CS:GO... He's taking it out on people in this thread, 'cause no one cares about his melodrama, either. Eventually, he'll get back to actually playing games, but he's gotta get his frustration out of his system, first. Then someone will knife him in the back again and he'll be right back here getting his frustration out, 'cause he's got no chill.
