Benoît Sokal, Belgian comic artist and video game developer (Amerzone, Syberia, Paradise...) is dead at 66.
RIP Mr. Sokal, thank you for the amazing stories and games.

R.I.P.

Too bad he won't be able to finish Syberia: The World Before. :(
Very sad. I assume they have enough of his work to complete the new Syberia game but it's a pity he won't get to see it.
Well that sucks. I quite liked the Canardo comics.

Such rudeness !

Anyway, Syberia 1&2 are considered classic adventures and shame indeed he didn't get to see the new one release and hopefully do better than the third game.

Perhaps you shouldn't be, instead. If you're not here to complain about it, you also won't be offended and everyone else can have the peace.

Yourself, really. Have some tact.
As a huge Syberia fan I appreciated the talent of Mr. Sokal. Gone too soon.

Up until around 10 years ago, I used to be fond of posting controversial stuff where it was not desired. Which, I believe, is called trying so hard to be an Edgelord. When my parents came to ask "Dude, what the fuck?!", I learned some restraint, because I didn't want them on my back bothering me again.

Which was great, because over time I learned to be a more empathetic person and stopped trying so hard to make people feel uncomfortable "because I could see things from obvious perspectives everybody else can, but are too cowardly to admit!!!" Nobody likes that. When I see that old stuff I was so fond of, I feel embarrassed.

Let's hope you can mature sooner rather than later and learn some empathy as well. As the internet has shown time and again, these things CAN and WILL come to haunt and hurt you in the future if you're not careful.

On the topic, I think it's a terrible loss. :( Loved the first Syberia. I have to come back and play the rest as well.

Nope that's not how it works.
You became more obedient and be inline, not more empathetic.
The only reason some feels uncomfortable about this is because they have too much irrational emotions, due to dogmatic expectations, they can't control it and press the - button to relieve the frustration.

Actually I bet I'm maturer than you are, hopefully you will learn this in time.
Btw saying others need to mature is rude, so you just proved yourself wrong. good job...

"these things CAN and WILL come to haunt and hurt you in the future if you're not careful." like how?
