thanks man you made my day :D
Maybe AMD will improve the frame rate with a profile ....but Crossfire is working with my HD6870's and 11.5 drivers.... just a little slow ... I get around 35FPS average with all settings enabled except Uber Sampling..

I get flawless gameplay with two HD4870s, a 3.6g dual core Phenom II, and 2g of ram (still rocking XP).

... but I am running it at 1280x720 (1920x1080 was clearly playable but I prefer silky smooth).

also got all that uber/bloom/blur/etc crap turned off just like everyone else, but none of that actually makes the game look better so no biggie.

*edit* dude, stop using RadionPro, its a big puddle of crap that diminishes your system's performance with all it's overlays and hack settings.

I've tried running it during a benchmark program just to see if it's actually working and got way lower results with RadionPro installed ... just make sure you reset every one of the settings in RadionPro to default before you uninstall, it hacks you driver settings in a way that persist even after you uninstall it.

I have to or else my game looks like crap...for some reason my control panel doesn't have the required graphics settings...

You can turn off all the overlays ....I only turned them on to show that crossfire is working...

The profile settings in the program are very useful ...the game was unplayable for me before using it...

Thank you. I'll be following @CatalystCreator from now on. Given how quickly they dealt with Brink once they started looking at it I'm confident now we'll be playing with CF very soon.

Im just wondering why it works with some cards and not others...
I did a rough test using GPU-Z while playing TW2 in windowed mode. The 2nd card in Crossfire was not being used as shown by its 0-1% GPU usage graph. Bummer though, running 11.5 with latest profiles. Might try using radeon pro and force a profile tomorrow.

I'm in much the same boat as others in this thread, I run HD 4870x2 and normally I play all games at 1920x1080 but this game gives me pretty poor frames if I try it.

Let me know when/if a fix comes out til I'm going have to go cold turkey on the witcher :(
Crossfire works for some people.... it doesn't seem optimized though ...

Like this screenshot: http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn134/BES12000/Witcher%202/Witcher2Fixedtextures.jpg it shows both my HD6870's under equal load ... the problem is the FPS sux during certain areas ..like cut-scenes like the one in the pic..

It doesn't matter if my settings are on Ultra except Ubersampling ...it STILL should have a lot higher FPS with TWO HD6870's ..mine are stock OCed too..
I forced Xfire on Radeon Pro using Dirt profile and my FPS are the same as if i was were using only 1 core :I

I used the Call of Juarez DX10 Crossfire profile and it seemed to work pretty well..
