I checked out www.gog.com on www.wikipedia.org the other day, and I read that GOG once had Operation Flashpoint but then removed it for no reason, apparently, what's up with that?? I think Operation Flashpoint is a fantastic game, how come they removed it?

All the removed titles were by Codemasters who requested the removal of those titles.
Which usually points in the direction of Codemasters releasing a CD/DVD version in stores again, or moving to a different direct download site, or just legal issues within the company.
Hmpfh... Damn shame, would have been nice with a little love from the dudes/dudettes at Codemasters...

Colin 2005, Operation Flashpoint & ToCA Race Driver 3.
The driving games were for licensing reasons. I don't know why they pulled Operation Flashpoint though.

Original War disappeared for a while and TOCA Race Driver is right out.
I can't speak for the others, but OFP might have been licensing issues. Bohemia Interactive made the game, Codemasters published it. BiS and Codemasters aren't exactly friends these days, so it is quite possible that OFP got pulled because it was unclear who should get what percentage of the profits.

CM owns the righits to OFP and it's name.
BIA has moved on to the ARMA series now.

Yes, but the problem is other things Codemasters have done (claiming that OFP2 was made by the same people who made OFP1, calling it the true sequel) that probably resulted in BiS threatening to call them on some of the grey areas of the contracts. Either way, it is likely unclear as to who gets what percentage of profits, and Codemasters (and BiS) probably felt it was easier to just not have OFP be sold (and thus, make us all get OFP2 or ArmA).

Hmm that sounds right.
They've re released it here in Australia along with Heroes: Soldiers of WW2 (which is also on GoG) for $20
But then why hasn't the developer of Heroes pulled out?
OPFLASH2.

CMR / TOCA are actually still downloadable (I have both and have tested) -- not sure what happened after but I'm glad for it.
Well, OFP can be downloaded too. But only if you bought it before it was taken down.
/me is glad that he decided he would rather pay for the game again than install from the discs
I bought it on Amazon UK for around $10-$15, has all the expansions. Good deal.
