chautemoc: CMR / TOCA are actually still downloadable (I have both and have tested) -- not sure what happened after but I'm glad for it.

I know. I've got ToCA. GOG fought for the right to keep them downloadable for people who bought them and they seem to have won.

Navagon: You'd think they would've made an announcement but I suppose Codemasters didn't want them to for some reason. Oh well, I'm just overjoyed I can download forever. :)

Given that it was removed due to licensing concerns, I'd imagine that's why they're keeping it quiet - the less those they're licensed from know, the better.

Yes, it was very good of GOG to fight for that right, since it doesn't affect their licensing at all. To be honest, back when the Toca/CMR fiasco was on, where GOG was telling us to download those titles before a certain date, I was about ready to abandon the service.
I just felt that I could not trust GOG to be able to download my titles from indefinitely, but their action on behalf of their users in regards to those 2 games changed my mind.
I now regret that I didn't bought CMR and Toca back then. I just lacked the inspiration... Maybe some day they will be available again, who knows. :(

I figured as much. Love the shadiness. GOG is so covert. :D
I've sent them an email about CM some time ago. They're still talking to Codemasters, but have come to no conclusion. So the game remains there until their discussion reach an end.
