michaelleung: People still use AGP? Isn't it sorta obsolete? I'm not into the hardware thing as much as I used to.

AGP was obsoleted before its time. Even an ATI HD3850 on AGP runs as fast as PCIe. However, I will admit that its over now. The bandwidth of PCIe is required for newer cards, but especially for dual card setups.

i am fanATIc so its x1950pro on my wife's pc, but unfortunately nV 8800GTS 512 on my toy
1 PC - ATI Sapphire X1650PRO 256 MB
2 PC - ATI Sapphire HD4870 512 MB
3 PC - nVidia Vanta 16 MB
unused
- ATI MSI x550 128 MB
- S3 Trio 3D Daytona 4 MB
my first ATI graphic card was sapphire 9800 but i gave it to friend
(mobile) 7900GS with 512MB memory for quite a while now. The chip is pretty good, the main problem was that it took NVidia ages to develop decent drivers for it. It was basically unusable for the first 18 months after it's release.
