I'm liking these indie games more and more.
Tried the demo for this a while back. It was okay. I like some of the gameplay ideas but the writing wasn't very funny (believe me, it was trying very hard to be). I can see a certain crowd really getting into this one.
Well, from the bit of footage I watched, the game looks like a lot of fun and the writing's...the writing's...well, it's no Penny Arcade, and it's trying very hard to be.

Kinky, thanks :D
I bought the game and I have to say that I'm having a lot of fun playing it (the game is really funny). I'm playing it in hard ++ mode, let's see how far I go, heh.

The game is still in beta and relatively clean (approx 2 hours played). Though, I had 2 crashes that messed up my screen resolution and desktop shortcuts, so I might put the game aside for a while and wait for future versions.

So if I understood correctly, the game is not finished yet, there aren't any reviews on the net, and is only available through author's page? I guess buying access now means access to all the following versions and the final product? What are the differences between each payment option (there are 5 prices on the site)?

I would guess you choose the price depending on how much you want to support the developer.
The game can be bought at several prices, choose yourself how much would you like to pay.

The base price is 9,5 but I offer a wide range of menus, from a more economic in case you have low budget to more generous in case you think that the game deserves it and that will help to make expansions and future games.

As far as I undestand the game is finished, but still in beta-phase. It's also on Indievania and there are many good videos on youtube. Also there is a demo version you will find under downloads.

Edit: On Indievania there are links to some reviews. Didn't recognized that so far.

Thanks a lot for clearing things up mates!
I am going to have to own this one.
I've just discovered this game yesterday and I must say it's a bomb! the "humor" might be a little silly but the gameplay and atmosphere is marvelous!!!

also the developers did a pretty decent job since last year and with the 1.0.20 version I haven't had a single crush or problem in about 6 hours of gameplay...

buy it everyone! :D

I can only agree. The humour is getting at some points a little bit too silly, but at all it's okay. Each area is very different and gives you different types of magic, so the demo (only the first area) gives you only a little idea of the whole game. I played the main story (not the ending), first time with focus on basic weapons and then on magic, and I'ts really addictive. There are still some minor bugs and options for improvements (personally I think the aiming could be better), but at all I also can highly recommend it.
Bumped.

More people need to know about this amazing, wonderful, awesome and excellent game.
I just checked the site after Cambrey's bump and it's already version 1.0.25!

Not sure where I have been for the past few months/years because I was just playing a beta of 0.32.3 a hour before hitting the GOG forums. It didn't feel as awesome as I expected probably because it was an earlier version.

I'll download the latest version and see if it changes my initial impressions.
Adding thieves to the game was one of the best ideas ever.
