What is Unepic?

Unepic is a combination of platforming and role playing games. There are many hilarious references throughout the game. The game takes place in Harnakon, a huge medieval castle.

It is set in the hardcore NES Style, yet refined with the latest features. This makes Unepic a very unique game.

I'm not really a fan of plattformer, but this game looks very tempting. With the rpg element it's not just a usual and fast-paced jump n run, so it's maybe playable for me. I will defintely check the demo. Thanks.

Looks appealing, shame about the NES style thing, i seem to be the only person in the world, who doesn't like the way Japan did/does it's games.

Watched a few minutes of gameplay video and I would not call it japan like. There is a reference to Castlevania, that's maybe why they say NES style. Never played consoles, so I really can't compare.

There's also the way text appears on screen.
But yeah, the video doesn't show the "hardcore NES Style" much.

So many flashbacks. Everything from Cauldron on C64 to Alien 3 on SNES (yeah I don't get why either, but there you go).
