I really, really enjoy FMV games. Just something about the way they use low-rent actors (or maybe even high-rent actors) in crappy ways makes me laugh all the time, and they're enjoyable to watch. You know what would be the holy grail of FMV companies to get up in here? Take 2. Ripper and The Black Dahlia spring to mind, but I'm sure there were others the company made.

The holy grail for me would be Wing Commander III and IV. Malcolm McDowell <3

Black Dahlia would certainly be the FMV holy grail for me. I think it was published by Interplay and we already have them on board, so... ;)

A lot of the hidden object games lately are pretty similar. Have you played that one by the Tex Murphy people? Three Cards to Midnight. Really, really good.
Yeah, I'd love to see Black Dahlia on here too. It was huuuuuuge though. 8 discs, think. Puzzles were tough and the game was immense.
Dennis Hopper too. Love that guy. They should release it as a tribute after he passes away (he has terminal cancer).

Haven't got around to playing Three Cards yet.
Black Dahlia is indeed huge. The runes puzzle... Jesus, almost fried my brain with that one first time around. Awesome ;)

You can't honestly or seriously throw a game like Black Dahlia togheter with that lot just because it's FMV.
The games, and i use the term VERY loosely, on that list are utter crap (i didn't check out Voyeur, my brain shut down after Plumers whatever), and they're definitely not what crosses my mind when i think about FMV games. I'll check out Voyeur when/if my brain manages to reboot...
So, no, i don't think we'll find the holy grail of FMV's on that list ;)
i think that if there is an FMV holy grail to be found it will likely be in this list (minus the Interactive Movies bit and the Edutainement stuff) .

i always wanted to try x-files game... when it was released it was HUUUUUGEEE... or even bigger. Remember reviewer mentioning it few times in his article.
probably like a game taking 30gb now.
and the game was apparently good (although my memory doesn't work that well these days. too much sandwich.)
