melchiz: I'm very proud of myself, having spent less than $50 on video games this holiday season. Saving money is fun!
Apparently, willpower can overcome great sales.

Then, why the Web Of Trust FireFox plugin dare to rate this website as "not to be trusted"? ;)
Ultimately I spent only about twenty-ish dollars. Defense Grid, Killing Floor, Trine, and went ahead and got Bioshock on the second offer since there weren't going to be anymore deals. Also grabbed Freespace 2 on GoG. Of course my fairly particular tastes limited a lot of what I was interested in buying.

Have you applied Freespace Open yet? The updated graphics are a must!
Yep, have it downloaded. It'll be a bit before I can get to it, though. Going to be a busy month for me and have a lot of backlogged titles to play.
Let's see...do some quick math...I think my holiday total between Steam, GOG and GG ended up around...$65? That should have me set up for awhile. :)

Kingoftherings: Thought about picking up Killing Floor this time, but decided not to.
I'm not much into Multiplayer/Coop games as I used to be.
it's single player isn't too terrible
I already spent too much on the holiday sale... and it's not even over yet! D:
I'm gonna have to launch a game I've just bought and keep playing it until the sale is over to prevent myself from spending any more.
Yeah same here...i was quite suprised about those sales..but at least i picked up Septera Core on GoG =) for 3.89$ its more than worth..also for mz notebook i bought for this type of older games its a must... and on steam i bought nothin this time >D prevented myself from spending lot of cash into games...as always ,,peace"
Between GOG and Steam:
Medieval 2 Total war
Defense grid, the awakening
Torchlight
Trine
Jade empire
Audiosurf
Evil genius
Advent Rising
Commandos Ammo pack
Praetorians
Divine Divinity
I don't know when I'll have the time to play all of those (already working on Torchlight and Trine). I should really cut back and abstain from buying for a few months. No clue how much I've really spent unless I check my e-mail for the receipts.
