No, a certain amount of bundles have to be sold, then everybody gets it. The total was passed after about an hour or so!

Not for those, they're Steam-only. Even after plunking the code into Desura, you get Steam links. :P

Just downloaded the First Encounter from Steam and it runs without it. Even from a different folder, if you wish.

Same with the second enc. They're delivered via Steam but run even with Steam shut down. Download, archive the folder, enjoy a DRM-less copy.

Kamikaze Attack is mildly fun. A bit like the recently bundled Bit Trip Runner, but with less annoying death.
Random Encounter reminds me of "active" tower defense games like Atom Zombie Smasher. Set up the guns, and control them a little to mow down the hordes.

This is the first Indie Royale that I'm going to skip. And yes, they do seem to be getting progressively worse, so I'm not too excited for the Valentine's bundle.

Well, this isn't a normal bundle - apparently the developers contacted IR themselves to ask about doing this.

Think of it as the Humble Indie Frozebyte / Voxatron Alpha / etc bundles. They're not in the officieal HIB 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 series.

I have to say, the only IR I'm actually excited for is the Alpha fund one. I think it's been leaked that Survivors of Ragnarok is going to be in it and I'm also hoping for Towns.

I already have Serious Sam Double D...
