Assuming it's not the HD versions of TFE and TSE, why are they Steam only?

I'm totally going to buy this and split up the keys to send SirPrimalform into a rage.... just kidding. Passing. Random encounter is mediocre and entirely too short. Tried the Double D demo, wasn't impressed. Already own First Encounter. Rather apply the funds to SS3 for $10 later this week.

Instabuy.

Both Serious Sam Classics are worth the price.

btw SS1 and SS2 both added to Desura, btw.

Yes, those are the Classic versions of the First and Second Encounters. And why Steam only? Who knows?

Desura key unlocked them both on my desura account too.

Already have not one, not two, but three copies of Serious Sam TFE and Serious Sam TSE, so I'm passing this one up. Not interested in the side-scrollers too. Shame that TFE and TSE are unlocked on Steam, considering the retail games are DRM-free (I believe one of the magazines back then was touting how you didn't even need a CD-key to play them).

That's been the case for every Steamworks game in an Indie Royale. I have Sanctum and Dino D-Day (blech) on my desura account. Try actually installing them off Desura though and you'll discover that it just tells you to add the key to Steam.

What a waste of a bundle =|

It seems silly to get the non-HD versions of the originals and Random encounter was (a very nicely pixelled) piece of crap.

Not sure about the others, but from what I've seen they didn't exactly look all that great...

still the royale bundles are pretty much going worse each time , the ss gold edition[classics+hd} goes on steam sales always at 75%-85%[3.75$ last time] so not much of a difference and the indie ones are pretty meh not playable for more than a hour.

the classics are on gog already too
