TheCheese33: I haven't been able to run Nintendo 64 games on my PC, and that's a god damn Nintendo 64.

Goldeneye worked for me.
PCSX2 worked fine here with more than 10 different ISOs.... I've just replaced my CPU (2,00 GHz --> 3,06 GHz) so the experience is far more enjoyable now :-D
I'd like to make a guide once the upcoming PCSX2 0.9.7 will be out. Meanwhile I'm playing to Maximo, Saint Seiya, Hokuto no Ken, Capcom Classics Collection (1&2), Wipeout, the damn Space Channel 5 and so on.... I just need a damn PS2 controller before I crash my laptop's keyboard into pieces :-P

Consider a Gog from me if the handbook will be really helpful.

Err... I was actually thinking about a thorough post, instead :-P

Still, if it's helpful, consider a GoG from me. You can choose whatever you like.
goldeneye worked for me about 5 years ago, so i'm guessing i could run it at a billion x billion resolution by now.
I looked at the top 30 ps2 games on gamerankings, and realised that there wasn't really any game that I could be bothered to install an emulator for... the only ones that appealed, I'd already played on xbox/gamecube/pc.
Except maybe god of war...

Actually, there are good PS2-Exclusive games out there:

4 games which comes into my mind:
Metal Gear Solid 3
Kingdom Hearts
Haunting Ground
Time Splitters. Motherfucking Time Splitters!

Dude, you gave up after just looking at a top 30? PS2 has the deepest gaming library of any console with TONS of great games. What kind of game do you like? I'm an avid PS2 fan, so I can recommend a bunch of games to suit your tastes.
For starters, play Shadow of the Colossus.

That's a nice graphic. I have most everything on there.

Ah... how could i forget about ico and shadow of the colossus. Though last time I checked they were still selling at very high prices.
That's a nice and useful graphic, and I found 4-5 games i'd probably like to play (plus of course others i've already played on other platforms like PoP and Psychonauts).
Ps2 emulation is pretty crap.
I haven't tried either of the GoW's cause I've beaten them both like three times.
It seems the only games I can get to work perfectly are the NIS SRPG's like Disgaea and the like.
Most all of the other games I've tried play at about half the speed or less.
Surprisingly, Persona 4 seemed to work fairly well but I only played about 30 minutes of it.
