Zeewolf: I refuse to believe you watched the tape and can still say that. I'll refresh your memory.
No, i did watched the video. The whole video.
I saw a guy who was minding his own business at his work place when two perps walked in and threatned his life and the life of the two other people inside.
In less than a minute, he managed to take the upper hand and then acted on that.
If you want to convince yourself that at the point he landed the first shot and during the following 30 seconds he was in his normal state of mind as you and i are right now, and that he should have managed to force himself to forget about everything else that was probably racing through his mind at the time and managed to solely focus on if it was wrong or right to fire those five shots, like you and i should be able to if we were confronted with such a decision right now, fine.
To me, the fact that under those conditions he ended up making a decision and killed someone doesn't instantly makes him a murderer.
Now, when you put it like this,
"The tape showed a person walking into a store, finding a gun, and shooting another person, who is lying injured on the floor, five times."
he does sound like a cold blooded murderer that fully deserves a murder one charge, but then again, when you sum it up in such a way dismissing everything else that possibly conditioned his decision to fire those shots, you clearly show that you're only taking into consideration your own moral values, and you won't ever allow any room for anything else.
