On tuesday I will call my bank to find out if they are "involved" in this payment problem.
About paypal: nothing more to say. So, as a "work-around" I will put some money on my PP-account, exclusively for GOG-offers.
And if that doesn't work I will pay cash... :D

Hi, I have the same problem as the first poster.

I realize it has something to do with direct paypment as stated in the post marked as "solved", but I still have to ask if there has been any improvement on this.

Why can I buy from steam, humble bundle, whatever using Paypal and not from you guys? You have much better stuff! ;) But to wait 2 days for the money to travel to the paypal thing doesn't really work for me. It should be Buy->Download->play in an hour IMO.

Sry to necro this thread. But i just recently created an account on this Site and i wanted to buy 8 games. I've been given ONLY 2 options : Creditcard or Paypal. ( really? just 2 payment-methods? )

But when i try to buy it via Paypal it always asks for a creditcard.
Well i'm sry but i wont get a creditcard anytime soon so i just cant pay for these games.
The illegal downloaders dont have such a problem...

edit: I mean i could pay via Giropay/Sofortüberweisung/Skrill/MoneyBookers and so on

1. Get a paypal account (though paypal operates under different rules throughout the world, I doubt they require a credit card in Germany).
2. Transfer money from your bank account to your paypal account (it'll take a few days).
3. Buy games with the funds present on the paypal account.

Either that, or see if your bank has a "virtual credit card" service (as part of the web site, or as a separate application). Mine does, and that's what I've used since long before I got an actual card.
