I already have two copies of this. But if the soundtrack has all the files named on it, it'll be a different story and I'll have 3 :( Anyone know?

You know what I like about GOG? They don't like releasing broken games and will gladly hold off until they know they work. I wish more companies would do the same.

Blast! I was really looking forward to grabbing Spellforce today. Oh well, assuming one of the others (Alien Nations, The Guild, Gothic2) are going to be the replacement, I'll still be making a purchase. Thanks for the update, Cook. :)

I bought Stronghold Crusader (and Gothic II Gold as well, despite having it already - hey, gotta support GOG.com) and I'm now downloading it, but the download is painfully slow - average has been around 15 KB/s.
I find it strange because I've downloaded many games already from GOG, and it nearly always met my maximum download speed (around 230 KB/s). Is there some reason for it to be so slow as it is now?
By the way, my connection fine, since download speed is normal for everything else. Any ideas?

Thanks for the explanation. Like everyone else here I think waiting is a very small price to pay to ensure that something is done correctly. Rather than getting frustrated over purchasing a less then perfect release.

Probably it's just that everyone and their mom is downloading Gothic 2 Gold at the same time sucking all the bandwidth.
