Good deal.
Speaking of Warband, are any of you going to get it? Unless it makes real significant improvements and costs only $15, I'm probably not going to get it. While I still recommend M&B to every other gamer out there, I can't help but feel disappointed with the final release. Somehow, aside from sieging, slightly more interactive towns, a bit of additional party dialog and a few more quests, little has changed for 3 years since 0.751 (first time I played M&B). To me, it sounds like a cop out from laziness, when Armagan suddenly made a public announcement that "M&B, a medieval simulator, will be released in.......", when back then he had plans to make Warrider aka M&B alpha as an RPG eventually.
I can't say that I regret paying only around USD10 back when it was beta. It was definitely worth it. But I also feel the undiscounted price for the commercial version is overmarked, especially when the effort put into the game since beta doesn't justify the price multiplication. Even scarier is that thing modders like Winter, Yoshiboy and Llew2 have outdone the vanilla game, way back during the 0.8 beta period, with mods like The Last Days (<3333), Storymod (<333333333333) and Pirates mod
And now Warband looks to be more like a "hey we're releasing a commercial patch for all of you cuz we didn't manage to patch the game before release lol" product. So, yeah, aside from multiplayer, and probably prettier faces, Warband looks to be more of the same, and if nothing else, a commercial patch. What do the rest of you feel, especially those who have been following M&B's development for a long time?
