By all means people you are free to edit the OP and my condensed list. A complete list of all IP's owned by Activision is an adventure game in it's own right.

Nope. It was released freely for a limited time on Sierra's site to promote Betrayal in Antara, but it was certainly not freely redistributable.

Yes, you're right. It's pretty long time...
Sorry for giving a hope.

Delixe: Civilization: Call to Power
Call to Power 2

Nice list. But aren't these two with Take Two now?

Thats a good question and one I can't find the answer to. Call to Power 2 was developed after Activision lost the Civ license back to Sid, hence it doesn't use the Civ name.
Hmmm...
From Blizzard/Activision the only game i want here is Diablo 1. Diablo 2 is already available DRM free (you only need to enter a key) from Blizzard's online shop. I don't remember if Starcraft 1 is there, but Diablo 1 is not. :(
And Diablo 1 has one of the most annoying features of any PC game, the CD needs to be accessed 99% of the time, driving me crazy. You could play with a cd-image mounted in a virtual cd drive, but it's a clumsy solution. I wish GOG will get this game and made it so you can play it from the hdd.
Anyway, from Activision it will be cool if we get NOLF 1 and 2, AvP 2 and Vampire Bloodlines. And some others i forgot right now...
edit: and Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. Hell yes, what a great game!

Uh, I know it's a dubious source, but I found this in one of Kotaku's comments:
Phantasmagoria should actually be on very soon. I just finished testing it. =)

The only games currently downloadable from battle.net are Diablo 2, Starcraft, Warcraft 3, and World of Warcraft (and their respective expansions), it'll expand as new games are released, but I seriously doubt they'll add the older games.

Then it will soon be time.

Let's not forget the Hellfire expansion for Diablo 1. Found an icon I didn't recognize last week, clicked it and it was Hellfire . . . and it worked fine after all these years. Have a fixed exe on that but Diablo 2 . . . if you install patch ver 1.12 and copy some files to you HD you are good to go.
Does this mean that we'll soon see Battlezone and Interstate '76 on GOG? I hope so....
Weren't Homeworld 1 & 2 published by Sierra? God, those games....I have no words to praise them enough.

Relic and all their IP's were bought by THQ.

I would say that's a shame. But Relic have really flourished under THQ.
We'll get them in the end. Oh yes.
