What the hell happened to them being out of money by august and having vastly, some say criminally, overvalued Mortal Kombat to make the company appear more viable to possible sucke... er... buyers? There was also rumours of it being a giant scam.
I think I might buy Ghost Recon instead, I have a feeling I'd get more gameplay out of it...

I could throw in a few hundred bucks... but that would be a few hundred bucks not going into Good Old Games...
Pretty sure the latter is a better investment...

Looking at wiki Midway doesn't seem to posses any good frachises to talk about. No wonder it's going under. Motral combat franchise is definately not worth 30 mil $ alone

I would rather buy Interplay ..I heard their stock cost somewhere around 5-10 cents a share...

if they released their catalogue on gog and made a whole bunch of promo deals i would buy them all regardless of how mediocre they are

looking at that list is actually kind of depressing. other than unreal tournament 3, i dont even see anything mildly tempting.

I actually know one or two people who could buy them for $30mil, and not go into any kind of debt for it.
But they have too much business sense to waste their cash on the company.
