Lone3wolf: I submit to you that you just haven't been trying hard enough, young pup.
I submit to you that the variety has been kinda lacking lately. I already have the Ultimate D&D Collection, Planescape and NWN2 (which is everything not gold boxed) so I'm not really brimming over with excitement here.

You own THIS?

That's the one. Ooooh, the resale value is... can they actually expect to sell it at that price?
I'm not complaining. I have half of them on retail copy, but still instabuy anyway. I even get to play 1 for half an hour a day sometimes. Rest can wait for my schedule to clear up.

Hell, I even had a couple of games off the promo last week. I wonder if gog can sell expansion packs for the week. I could do with an extra 2.6 days every now and then :P

Aliasalpha: Nah, it better be Baldurs Gate 2, I just finished 1 last night

Krankor: Wow! I'm impressed.
I'm still hacking through it (probably 30hrs + now).
How long did it take you to complete?
Haven't the foggiest but I think I started playing it 2-3 days after it came out. It did serve as my main escape from the horrors of reality for the last few weeks though. In game time I spent 108 days

Hehe, I hadn't realized my own collection was quite so comprehensive 'til I checked what was included in that. I'm only missing BG1 and Dragonshard.

In truth I'm missing the NWN2 expansions. But that's mostly down to them not being at a reasonable price at a place I can buy both of them.

So, if I remember correctly in that an in-game day is an hur real-time, that's at least 100 hours. Not counting reloads and reruns of the same content.

I didn't know people actually paid money for NWN2. Do the expansions radically improve it or something? I passed up that game without a second thought after reading initial reviews.
Icewind dale 2 would be good, as I am planning to buy the first one. Also, a good collection of ye olde SSI crpg's would be sweet. I want to go to the pool of radiance.

MoTB is one of the best campaigns ever made.

The game needed some serious patching. But to be fair, it got it.
Ooh. Now I want it. :D

Personally I find it to be a much. much better game than NWN1. Certainly in terms of characterisation and storytelling.

But yes, the patching. It can take a while. I hope you have a good book handy.
