It was your proposal of focusing on the 'two most suspect' one of which wasn't even one of the most suspect plus your omission of one of the actual two top suspects (Quad) - twice - that moved you to the top of my personal list. But I had you on my radar before that. I'll go back through the thread to distill why I had that feeling about you in the evening. At the moment I don't have the time to go through 19 pages of posts.

I think everyone of the 3 suspect should provide a final argument in a single well-written message on why people shouldn't vote for them, and why they aren't mafia.

If you people agree with me, let me know.

Hmm... I'm also somewhat suspicious of the way that CSPVG's post 141 on joining the N0x0ss stack is possibly a bit overly vague... (This is not a good sentence, I'm sure, but still)

In any case, it looks a bit like it could be used to fill in the popular opinions on him later on for what finally encouraged him to vote, to be used for attempting to divert suspicion the day after or during the rest of the day. So... yes, my vote remains. It's not much to go on, but I don't think I'm going to get that much more at the moment.

Oddly enough, it's occurred to me on rereading that CSPVG doesn't seem to mention Pazzer all that often before I took over either. I'm not really sure how this fits into everything else I've considered yet.

Still deciding on the others at the moment - tell me, does anyone remember how long it was between posts 141 and 142 going up? ( In actual time, not "1 post", please. :P ) It changes how I'd interpret Robbeasy's joining the stack rather a lot.

I'd be fine with doing this. I do, however, have reservations about the fact Quadr would be able to wriggle out of this a little too easily(by simply saying that he can't explain Pazzer's actions). I'll have mine up a little later, after I've had a chance to think about what I would like to say.

QuadrAlien-I feel you're being slightly disingenuous. Yes, that post was vague. I did note, back in post 105, that N0x0ss was on my radar, and stated my reasons for finding him suspicious. I know they are 36 posts apart, but I do feel that there is a clear continuation of my thought.

Also, I do not know how many times I have to say this: Pazzer was at the back of my mind because his posts were so few and far between. I must also say, that you harping on this fact is odd to me. Wouldn't the fact that I rarely mentioned your predecessor mean that we had a suspect relationship, and that by extension you and I have one as well? I must say that I feel that you're trying to throw more suspicion on me than is actually applicable to the situation.

Finally, those posts- as I now remember it- could not have been more than ten minutes apart. I noted it as suspicious, but did not say anything about it until Rob's comment to me in post 147. At the time I said( in post 149),"I can't help but feel that you're trying to sell me up the river, Rob." Meaning that I felt Rob was trying to cast suspicion on me by voting as close to me as he did, and then commending me for expressing the reason why I did so.

flubbucket-Your words wound me! Of course I'm a townie. Saying this will no doubt make some of you more suspicious of me, but it is the truth.

Hrmmm... I'm keeping my vote where it is for now. Of the 3 viable wagons, N0x is the only one I'm really convinced of. There is a tiny chance I'll move my vote if we're really heading for a no-lynch and my switching my vote would make a difference, but I'd wait until the last second as I'm not as sure about the others.

Alright. I went through the older posts and before the incident with you forgetting QuadAlien in your lynch-shortlist you were mainly suspect for open roleclaiming and rolefishing. Both of these might still be just an agressive playstyle. Or just a careless blunder. As might be the first instance of forgetting QuadrAlien. But 'forgetting' a second time that he's one of the most suspect makes it had to believe that it wasn't intentional and makes it look quite strange. So for the moment my vote stays on you. Especially because there is hardly any chance to lynch the one I actually find most suspicious (P1na).

But should a train on P1na miracolously appear out of nowhere, I will gladly switch back to him again.

I must first apologise for the lengthiness of the following post. It is my day one summation and defense, so I feel that the length is justified. Here goes nothing:

The day phase has been quite productive. Though we as a group are slim on actual evidence(as is always the case on day one), we have had a lot of conversation that will be helpful to us in the days to come.

This may be slightly vain, but I feel that I have been an important part of the day's discussion, and that I have contributed in a helpful manner. Not only have I given my opinion on various aspects of our discussion, I have tried to get other players talking by asking them question, and prompting them to give their opinions. This may seem inconsequential, but I do not feel that a mafia member would have acted in this manner; on the contrary, they would have been content to either sit back and say little(as Pazzer/QuadrAlien has done), or sow confusion(as N0x0ss has).

Most importantly, I feel that I have questioned the actions of the majority of players that have acted suspiciously. I questioned flubbucket about his claims, and have been constantly pointing out N0x0ss myriad contradictions and odd manner of play(by which I mean his aggressive, trick-based investigation technique).

My focus on N0x0ss has been detrimental, however. In one case in particular: That of Pazzer/QuadrAlien, who has also acted suspiciously. I have erred in this case, and will attempt to me more vigilant in future.

In closing, I must once again apologies for my silly,"focus on only the two top-voted players."idea. Even though I think that we are enacting this idea(at least in part) as I speak. I can only hope that everyone will see that I've been trying to help town in a genuine manner.

So, vote for CSPVG for...Wait, no don't do that.
