So the end of the month is coming up, and I heard that there were about 20 games from activision to be released (I don't know if that was just rumor, or if that included beyond this month or what..), and by my count we still have six games to go (if you include all the games in the packs). So are we gonna have sort of a grand finale this weekend or what?
(concluding with games such as... GK3 :)
The rest of the games are probably still being worked for compatibility with XP/Vista or are being saved for a rainy day when gog doesn't have anything else to release.
They said there were going to be about 15 releases in total (including bundles as one) but not in what time frame they'd be released. So I'd imagine the rest will be released as and when they can.
Yeah, it was my understanding that they had an initial group of 20 Games that Acti wanted to put up on GOG, not that there would be 20 games released in 15 packages just in February alone. However, by my count, 15 of the supposed 20 games have been released, if you count the I76 package as two games (it has I76 plus an expansion), leaving only 5 games left to release in the initial offering. That does make some kind of sense: if there really is going to be a total of 15 packages, then there are only 5 more packages to go. Any speculation on what these last 5 games will be?

Modern Warfare?
The interview said
20 games, 15 SKUs
So 15 releases. Theoretically, up to five of those will be bundles.
They didn't say that all 15 would be this month though. Just that they currently have 15 planned.
And I'll throw in my hat/hopes for "Ultimate Spider-Man". Underrated as hell, but very fun. Plus, it was canon until the retconning in the last year or USM v1 :p

Hmm I may speculate on Bloodlines, if GOG is taking its time to fix it somehow. Don't know other titles though, maybe they'll do a sparse release of the "1-2-3 bundles"... or a batch release of the 5 remaining games/packs.
Any new rumors about March for GOG?

In March they would reveal another publisher with a publisher that has at least 1 game in the wish list top 10.
In another thread we concluded LucasArts to be the most likely candidate.
As for the Activision month, it lasted 5 weeks as it started in the last week of January.
They never said it was going to be a calender month, so they might be releasing more Activision games in the next few weeks till the March announcement.

I don't know how you concluded that LA was the most likely candidate for the end of March announcement, EA is easily far more likely a candidate.
Also, your math is off. Today marks exactly 4 weeks since the initial "Month of Activision" announcement on Jan 28th. I'm sure that more Activision games will be released over the coming weeks, but the "Month of Activision" is still over and done with.

Yep, probably, if the month that is not a month continues.

You know what? I want EA a lot more than LA, I know that LA has a lot of classics and so, but I would rather get EA first.
Yes, I'm sure this will not be the end of the Acti titles, we just don't know what more we will get or when.
Thanks both for the info, I hadn't followed the two or three thousand posts on other threads. ;)

Well, assuming that it actually was said that the game was in the top 10, LA is a better bet. Pretty much every game up there is either LA, licensing hell (D&D games/Atari), or System Shock :p
That being said, I am good with either outcome.

I never concluded anything, others did.
I did list the publishers belonging to the top 10 games, 4 in total if I remember correctly.
Atari not being possible due to issues with the D&D license.
That left, Take-Two, EA and LA.
Several others concluded LA was more likely than EA due to LA already having deals with several other digital stores.
I can't find that post unfortunately.

No One Lives Forever 1&2. That's more wishful thinking than anything though.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines? Also probably more adventure games.

Actually, it's still 28 days since the Month of Activision's start, so four weeks.
