The sad thing is that as dormant a franchise as Dungeon Keeper has been any movement is good movement. A cheap mobile freemium tower defense game is insulting compared to the original (it makes you wonder who thought such a horribly mis-match from the original was a good idea). However, this is the stort of lukewarm filth that might drum up more interest in successive installments. I could like with IAP riddled cartoon Dungeon Keeper Mini for smart phones if it meant Dungeon Keeper 3 was being considered.
Horny’s Back and better than ever in Dungeon Keeper on mobile!
"Better than ever"?

Would that greedy corporate execs had but one throat so I could slit it.
I am trying not to prejudge it but I have a feeling that this is going to be rubbish. I will still download it and hope (and I mean hope) that it is playable
Depressing.
Free to play? Sure, I'll try it out, but don't expect me to buy anything in-game.

Haha oh my god thats hilarious.

And for those without an Android device, you could use BlueStacks to play it.
Most DK clones have missed the point. But that one looks very promising (because it's exactly the same).
That one looks like an actual spiritual successor to DK, I'm quite excited about it.
Can't say I'm at all surprised, especially after an equally horrific mistreatment of the Theme Park franchise.

Would love to see the Theme Park games here though eventually, especially the original.

Indeed. I've never really looked at WFTO precisely because all the other "spiritual successors" to Dungeon Keeper clearly missed the point, so I'd kind of given up hope. That one does look very promising though.

Same here. When you're faced with a string of hopefuls, none of whom really cut it, you can become a bit blinkered and risk overlooking something promising. I did the same with this one and clearly I shouldn't have. I'm very interested to see how this one develops. But clearly they've got the core gameplay down. That was always the most important thing.
